3 lottery guys (DLo/Ingram/Randle)
3 quality rotation buys (Clarkson/Nance/Lou)
3 large money buys (FA)
3 rotation parts (#32/Brown/Black)
Tanking/building thru the draft is over after this top 3 pick.
DD by himself, sure, we don't win too many more games.
DD + 2 others + Ingram + Luke, we ain't a high lottery team anymore. Time to start tryna win again.
Easy to grasp.
Harden and Cousins. It's not praise to be in the same company of anything as them. Yeesh.Gets to the line a lot. 3rd most in the league. Behind Harden & Cousins. Consistently does this every year.CP on #TeamD.Roze?!
Not a good look, man.
If you've got analytics that could possibly disprove my eye test: I'm listening.
These are things that you say at the END of bigging someone up, but this is among the initial compliments for the guy? That's like telling someone to eat at your favorite restaurant because of the silverware.Coverts at the basket really well.
Shoots above average from 14 feet in.
Around average from 15-19
Not eem sure what you just said.Increased his efficiency by decreasing his 16 > 3P shots by almost 10% in the past year.
The problem with this is it's trying to get Duncan to bring the ball up more, it's trying to get Dragic to stay in the post more, it's getting... it's trying to get D.Roze to shoot less 3s and be more spot up. By no means is he a chucker, but he is who he is. This suggestion I'm talking about right now suggests that his lack of discipline is the fault of the coach and/or the system he's in. No. He is who he is, and he is undisciplined, and straight up unintelligent on some situations.Catch and shoot 3s, he shot 42% up about 10% from normal, 20% when it's off the dribble. So clearly he has some ability to shoot 3s under the right circumstance. It's about keeping him from going full-Kobe, and be a catch and shoot shooter from 3.
Get a lot of motion in your offense where you get him open looks off the catch from 3, and keep his shot selection trending in the right way (cut 16 > 3P shots down more, optimally you'd want about 4-4.5 shots to be around 2, and make them 3 pointers or shots at the basket).

"this cat missing points to validate his own opinion"this cat missing the point to validate his own opinions...Harden and Cousins. It's not praise to be in the same company of anything as them. Yeesh.
c'mon guy, it doesnt matter WHO the company is, its being the company.
If your tops in the league for going to the line, your probably getting your team 10-20 point alone on being aggressive.....not even scoring....just being active.
we get it you dont want derozan, but when this dood is bringing in valid points and u just chopping em down for the sake of arguing.....
feel sorry for your spouse if you married bra.
Yeah, some people are too immature to man up when they are wrong but jump at opportunities to try and put others on blast.yawns*

Percentage wise that's still almost 30% of the cap (which is superstar money) and everyone has acknowledged he's not that type of player. And he's not going to get anything less than that based on those empty stats (just look at Kevin Love and the deal he got after he showed not to be the same player with CLE as he was with MIN). So no, do not want him at all.
Yea I think you guys are hung up on the 25 mil, you should be looking at the % of the cap that he's taking.
Would you be ok with signing him for 18mil? Or do you just not want him at all?

That's 60% of it for me, that's what his All-Star status, as CP likes to mention at every turn, commands. The other 40% is I think you can duplicate what he gives you on the floor with a combo of Clarkson and Lou (scoring), without jeopardizing the development of your other guys because DD is pretty useless without the ball. And if you don't have him as a focal point, why the hell would you invest that much in him to begin with.CP, I think the only thing your brothers in arms MOSTLY have against DRoze is potentially backing a Brinks truck up to his house.
That man ain't $110 mil.
