Time to pull those phone records
Had a feeling it was the other way around when you first mentioned it.

USC bought to pull a Frank Lucas on college football.

On some "You wanna @$%% with me, well, @$%% you" steez.

While bumping "Ether" in the background.
Well you guys have the perfect coach in attempting to turn others in.  Hopefully for Laney's sake, there's some merit to it.

In regards to the ban, I do feel bad for the kids enrolled there, and even some of the kids who enrolled early for the 2010 class... but, I couldn't be any happier for Lane.  It couldn't have happened to a better guy.

true indeed, but check this out

Florida denies the accusation it contacted Dillon Baxter
Oregon denies contacting Dillon Baxter
Source at one of schools accused of contacting Dillon Baxter says Baxter allegedly "lost his phone" since calls
Cell phone records could clear that up. Unless of course its a disposable "pay as you go."

so Dillon is claiming to have lost the phone when pressured... *facepalm* I hope this isnt another Lane Kiffin "Urban Meyer has to cheat" false accusation

Is it possible Lane put him up to it?

Lane seems like the childish type. Plus the way He carried himself at T during his opening press conference was

Despite what Markeith said the 1st day when the NCAA  Sanctions were rreleased

AJC reports:

Southern Cal freshman-to-be, WR Markeith Ambles of Henry County, is thinking about transferring and a decision could come in the next day or two, according to GAVarsity’s Brendan Cosgrove. Ambles enrolled early at USC in January. Georgia Tech offered Ambles out of high school, while UGA did not.

Would Dooley take him?

Read earlier that the MWC might want the Big 12 leftovers...but not Baylor. TCU got them blacklisted.

There's talk of up to as many as 9 USC 2010 signees who are looking into transfers, Seantrel is one of them.

See where this goes...

They haven't enrolled yet right, so is it the same as a transfer? They would need to be released by USC from their LOIs, I guess, so it'll be interesting to see whether USC allows it. Could be added negative publicity if they don't.

LOI's are binding, so they have to sit out a year.

I could see Seantrel leaving, doubt it, but I can see it.

The dust is still settling, but I don't see many leaving.  Maybe a couple of Juniors and Seniors who aren't getting any PT anyway.

From a USC article on bleacher report:

"NCAA bylaws also allow new recruits who haven't enrolled to be released from their letter of intent"

^
That's a new one to me, I need to actually read the rule and confirm it myself, before I stick by that

LOI are not binding.

It's called a letter of "intent" for a reason.

What I've read is that the signed letter of intent is binding, even without enrollment.

I could be wrong, but it was the reason Seantrel delayed signing his.

Jarvis Jones is gonna take trips to FSU and UGA before deciding where to play. Both schools will check him out during the visit to clear him medically.

Look for UNC to possibly get in on the Jarvis Jones sweepstakes as well. They are fighting tooth and nail to try to get in.

Jarvis Jones got his neck checked extensively by numerous doctors, and couldn't get clearance.

I hope none of these schools "clear" him and then he suffers a terrible on field injury.

Sometimes what the heart wants isn't always the best option.  JJ just wants to play ball, but couldn't get medical clearance.
