I don't think it matters how the players express themselves to bring the issues to light as long as the message is being made and it's sparking discussion which was the whole point to begin with Kaep kneeling.
Sit, kneel, lock arms, put your helmet on, turn around, it doesn't matter.
Locking of arms has been discussed as much as anything and that's all that matters. Discussion so we can fix it.
Saying you have to kneel in order for it to be worthy of a protest is no different than the other side saying you have to stand with your hand on your chest.
No one has to do anything.

The sounds he made for the album is why its my favorite first and foremost. It's like experimentally perfect. The lyrics are stupid but I love them lol. They have like, character. Kanye is a character. I watched a video of this guy interviewing Kanye and he talks about how why he keeps his raps simple sometimes and then he freestyles the entire song of Gorgeous. So it makes me wonder if he does it on purpose to fit with the sound on something like Yeezus.
Like in Hold My Liqour the first half of the song he raps a series of 4-5 word statements every 3 seconds, each divided by whatever the hell that noise he made was. And then the entire second half is just an instrumental trance.
Sometimes I feel people take lyrics to critically and have a strict set of rules on how they should be written. But they're art like anything else and there shouldnt be any limitations to expression. What's wrong with stupid. People like stupid movies. People act stupid on purpose. You never really know what you're gonna get from Kanye lyrically. You know he's capable to throw down like No Parties in LA. Other times he has something completely else in mind.
