Looking to buy a Nissan 240sx s13 or s14 any advice NT? Vol. School me

Get a cheaper 240sx that is in good shape interior/exterior wise. Can usually find them with rims/coilovers/mods done to them. Then swap the engine for an SR20DETT. Won't have to worry about how many miles the original engine had, and it would be a beast. I have 2 friends that did that with theirs, and they have had nothing but a great car. Good luck finding one though, they are hard to come by nowadays.

If I got one, I'd get an S15 conversion on it. Looks so nice.

i would rather recommend nico forums over zilvia. at least when i used to frequent the boards they were more helpful than zilvia and the people were nicer. but i don't know about now, i'm sure a lot has changed in 2 years.

if you don't know anything about working on cars i would try to find one that has the stock KA engine with 5 speed. even if you don't know how to drive stick, get a 5 spd because you will want to swap it down the road. they're generally good cars for all types of purpose: daily, drift, just a clean, nice looking car, etc. i would prob. pass on buying a 240 now though, since 99% of them are gona be rusted out, over 200k mile tin cans. do you really want to pay 3-4k for a 20 year old car with 200k+ miles? if you really do then i suggest joining nico forum and educating yourself for a couple months before you jump the gun. good luck.

Good choice on car. I love seing clean S chassis in person. 240's are like Da integra's to me.. at least where I'm from. It's rare that you find one that is hella clean. Most of the time they are usually riced out or straight hooptie. GOod luck on your search. I myself love the s15 body style. S13's with lazy eyes are
