there's some nice hills if you go to the southside of the city. there residential neighborhoods, but they make for some nice views, just follow the uphillstreets.

if you don't mind making the 25 min. drive down the 605, signal hill is in long beach.

There's a spot in rowland we call top of the world, use to go there back in the day after parties

Go late at night, get on colima (east), right on fullerton (take it up), and I don't remember the street name but its gonna be a left @ a light and Ibelieve the community is called vantage point.

You drive all the way up the hill and u end up in a cul de sac, u hike up this hill, and u have a chooice to go right nor left and right has a gang of cows orhorses so go left

But once u get on top, you basically get a 360 view from orange county to like la-!*@

its a mission though, and it might be tresspassing, but well worth it
