On episode 10.. Man that battle in 9..

Surprised they went this route with the foggy relationship

Not seeing the love triangle thing at all. Foggy was flirting. She wanted Matt to put his paws on her face. Foggy was colleague-zoned. End of that story. Not really a love triangle.

Na foggy did a decent job early on but that episode when he found out who Matt really is and he's pissed at him was :x . Idc the worst actor was dude who played Fisk, and some of those criminals :x :x . Everybody else was good enough. If you watched this thinking you were gonna get a Oscar performance :{ on you b. Show was good though.

Wasn't eem paying attention to the acting like that. It wasn't bad to me so ehh.

Whelp, gotta pour some out for the homie..

Gotta watch the finale now

Like I said before, it is a BEGINNING. They will learn from this and make better choices for the next series.

imo Fisk came off whiny and weak at times, but by the end of the series i realized this season is not just about how Daredevil comes to be, but how Fisk becomes Kingpin.

I saw Kingpin in the prison cell at the end, not Fisk

Season 2 will probably be the vengeance of KingPin.... cant throw spoilers but I hope they adapt that particular story arc cuz it is right THERE for the taking

Son in here raving about Sin City movies :{ Get the **** out

Talking about comedy isn't good and the mystique of a superhero movie wears off :rolleyes

I wouldn't be surprised if Kingpin isn't involved in the second season.

It's kinda weird. Sometimes I see Fisk, and sometimes I see the beta characters that D'osorio has played in the past. He's most convincing to me during times of confrontations - whenever he's angry, or fighting.

It's an interesting take on a mob boss type-y character like him though. Refreshing, if a little weird.

I was expecting a cocky son of a ***** from the jump. So I was surprised.

I like the costume.. Just not a fan of when they connect the mask to the suit, like cap's in avengers

Definitely enjoyed his costume. Although, his helmet looks similar in material to Cap's helmet. But otherwise, I liked how they designed the costume for the series.

Finale was solid, thought it was a good ending for the first season.

I know a lot of people have been complaining about the quality of the acting and I'm starting to see that now...But to say the acting is "crap", I cannot agree with that. Sure, Foggy isn't a great actor (no wonder he barely had any lines in The Mighty Ducks), but the other characters balance everything out.
I was surprised that Wesley was killed. My assumption was that he was going to try and undermine Kingpin.
Also was surprised Urich was killed. It would have been good to keep him around and be a recurring character in other Marvel films, since he wrote articles about Hulk's fight in Brooklyn and the Battle of New York.
Well done, Marvel.

I think this is a residue from the animated series where we see a more confident and never phased Kingpin. It threw me off too especially with his speech mannerisms that just lacked confidence and was a simp but got over it once I saw where they were going with the character.

In the show, it is kind of his origin story too where he was still stumbling and mumbling and eventually he'll turn into a bad*ss boss.

The kid who plays young Matt sucks and sometimes when Fisk is angry he sounds like Edgar from MIB

Not gonna read the gripes I KNOW are in this thread

. Binged watched this past weekend and it was good. Loved the tone of the show, and I liked the anti hero aspect they tackled (which is something they struggled to do with the movie imo). The tone to me, was somewhat similar to the first Punisher movie with Thomas Jane, and I'm screaming for them to cast him again as Frank in another movie, or at least a TV series.  It bugged me a bit that I didn't get the costume right out of the gate, but I calmed down and was satisfied when it was finally revealed. I will definitely watch the season again and I'm looking forward to season 2.

Show started off great, but the last two episodes wrapped up the story a tad too neatly for me.

And I have no qualms about the suit, it was just surprising how it took me aback. I had been watching the show and really got pulled into the crime feel of it. Once he puts on the suit, it reminds you that it's actually based on a comic book.

In short, I'll definitely be watching a second season (if they have one).

Second season (if greenlit) won't happen til 3-4 years from now. They got to get through Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and then Defenders shows first. I do hope they released DD first so we see some of his presence in the Civil War film.
