I'm through episode #4 (maybe even #5) & I like the show quite a bit. I think the cast is solid too. I can see the gripes people have mentioned but they don't bother me at all. I also think Charlie Cox works as the title character.

I liked the interplay between Claire & Mike. Also like exchanges between Foggy & Karen, especially in the scene when he went to their old law firm to speak to Foggy's ol girl.

Anyone else think the fight scene with the Russians in Cut Man ep #2 remind them of the epic fight scene in Oldboy?

Second season (if greenlit) won't happen til 3-4 years from now. They got to get through Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and then Defenders shows first. I do hope they released DD first so we see some of his presence in the Civil War film.

really I heard they were trying to do two shows per year. I would think daredevil season 2 might come sooner than 3-4 years. Who knows. For the people saying the love triangle is corny. They aren't really pushing that story on us, I mean they kinda go into it but not the way you guys make it seem.

its not like the wolverine/jean/cyclops

I did say "might" :lol

But here's the report from IGN back in January on the Marvel/Netflix shows:

Today, at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour, I asked Netflix head Ted Sarandos about these potentially conflicting reports. Regarding how long it would take for the shows to debut, he remarked, “You should think of it about as roughly a year. Some will roll in as early as eight months and others in 15 months apart, and basically what it is is we’re not trying to meet a fall programming schedule or trying to hit a grid number, so really we want to give the shows enough time.”

When I followed up to ask if that meant Jessica Jones likely would not debut in 2015, Sarandos replied, “It’s too hard to say now.”

All of which is to say, don't be surprised if A.K.A. Jessica Jones doesn't debut until 2016 or, at least, until the very end of 2015.

Does anyone know the order that these shows will release in? Daredevil - Jessica Jones? - then Luke Cage? Iron Fist?

When they film a 2nd season of DD has nothing to do with that.

At the pace they're at now. Ready to film JJ, prepping for Cage. The 2nd season could come in late 2017.

If they really wanted to they could easily fit in a 2nd season before the Defenders one. Plus I expect they'll cameo in each others shows.

I don't think they'll start filming DD second season til all of the other shows are out of the way, well maybe they can start filming onc ethey wrap up production of Defenders then work on a second season of DD. I can see DD making an appearance/cameo in JJ, Luke Cage and/or Iron Fist shows but I don't think another DD solo show will be coming til after the Defenders. That is until I hear/read otherwise.

This is the 1st Netflix series I've watched. Very good show. Halfway through the season.

I just don't like how they release all the eps at once. One of the reasons shows like TWD, GoT, B-Bad generate so much hype is because of the water cooler talk between eps.

Pros and cons to it.

House of Cards generated huge talk. It's not just popular but critically acclaimed given the awards it's won and how ppl praise it. Even the president and other politicians.

That's the appeal to netflix. All the eps at once any time you want, tapping in to the instant gratification of binge watching. The majority of ppl caught on to it when they were able to catch up on Breaking Bad with it. Once netflix started offering original series it was a wrap.

I'm personally hoping it gets rid of all this don't spoil me culture going around.

So how do you think they releasing the shows

JJ before the end of 2015? Cage spring 2016?
Fist fall 2016? Defenders spring 2017?

Well off that quote posted they said they're not basing it on a seasonal thing but I do think they'll give each new release time to breathe.

I knew that scene reminded me of another fight scene. lol I enjoyed that scene a lot.

I like the netflix buffet style, that old way of putting shows out doesn't do it for me anymore. My schedule doesn't allow me to save one day a week to watch a show. Any network tv show I've been watching on demand. I lost interest in TWD after tyrese died, didn't watch anymore episodes until the season finale. They showed all the episodes that day luckily I was off and binged watch the entire 2nd half of the season.

All episode at once is great, but sometimes doing half seasons then second half give writers/directors room to learn and grow.

great show but certain scenes are drawn out to long
