i dont even know what to say about it. these crooks preying on peoples fear to "teach" them these kinda "techniques" pisses me off cuz god forbid theyre in a situation and try to use this trash... theyre dead. all cuz someone wanted their money. want a drill? have someone come in with prop guns and blanks. show people what its REALLY like. soon as she reached for the shotgun hes pulling the trigger. the first 2 people minimum in that row are now dead. her 108lb frame is about to wrestle a hot weapon out of a shooter's hand while his finger is on the trigger? SHOW her what will happen at minimum. dont sit there and cheer and clap and "YEA GIRL POWER!" the ****.

misinformation about guns is as dangerous as the cowardly shooter with the gun. and thinking you can wrestle a gun out of someones hand when they routinely bench press you 3 times a week is a recipe for failure.

TUMWATER, WASH. —

Police are responding to reports of a shooting inside the Walmart Supercenter in Tumwater, Washington.

The fire department told KIRO7.com they are calling it a "mass casualty incident" and confirmed at least two people were shot.



The Walmart is about 62 miles from Seattle.

Man this reminds me of those women's self defense classes. It's almost like it's choreographed because they just happen to be standing at the perfect angle and the attacker acts so weak. They want these teachers to potentially risk their lives but only want to pay them 40k.

a better solution is to not make schools into fish in a barrel situations. in this example shooter comes thru the front door and lights up the room cuz theres only one entrance one escape. in my middle school certain rooms had a 2nd rear door to exit the room. But not my high school. A simple solution is to add more than one exit to rooms. Best way to not get shot is to not stand in front of the shooter.

A good thing would be adding rear exits to classrooms on ground level that only open from inside. And also adding side doors (like in hotels when rooms are connected) between rooms on the 2nd or 3rd etc floor so they can at least move laterally without stepping into the hallway.

if a shooter enters your room, be armed. chairs, table legs, NOT rocks, whatever. cuz once hes inside its a fight for your life. and your teacher doing these moves she learned from tae bo while students watch aint gonna cut it

A shooting has occurred at the Capital Gazette in Anne Arundel County, a paper that is owned by The Baltimore Sun, according to reports from Gazette staff.

Anne Arundel County Police confirmed there was an “active shooter” at 888 Bestgate Road, where the newspaper’s offices are located. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed it was responding to a “shooting incident” at the Gazette.

Phil Davis, a Gazette crime reporter who was there at the time of the shooting, said that multiple people had been shot. Police did not immediately respond to requests for further information.

“Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees. Can’t say much more and don’t want to declare anyone dead, but it’s bad,” Davis wrote on Twitter as he waited to be interviewed by police. “There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you’re under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.”

Maryland State Police were on the scene assisting county police.

“Please, heed all warnings and stay away from the area. Praying for those at the scene and for our community,” he wrote.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen wrote on Twitter, “My heart is with the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims as we learn more about this terrible situation. We must unite to end the violence.”

Police were also at The Baltimore Sun newsroom in Baltimore. Police said there was no threat on the Sun, and that their presence was a precaution.
