Mass Shooting Thread: Waiting on the next one.

Notice the “middle eastern looking” part. Very calculated. Easy to flip flop on later on when they find out is just Steve from next door with facial hair

The 'general' public will grasp at anything to make it seem like mass shootings are linked to radical Islamic descent or training.

I'm not trying to derail this thread but we have our standing President complaining about athletes not respecting the flag and the military but, at least to my knowledge zero mentions of the of the epidemic that is affecting so many of those men and women who have served our country. More needs to be done to support troops coming home from active duty.

Let's see.... the shooter's name is David Ian Long....

All them retweets. SMH.

Time and again these amateurs jump the gun. "I just spoke with a guy who was by the door and he said that..."

I don’t blindly support the military as a whole. I show support to the individuals I know that aren’t horrible people looking for a reason to shoot people

I'm not following. Where did I say anything about supporting the military?

I mentioned this before... I'm generally not scared of anyone when I'm walking around the city, but every time I see a dusty looking white dude raising his voice, yelling, looking mad in public, etc. I always walk in a different direction or try to get away from there as fast as possible. Even dudes with legitimate grievances against whoever they're yelling at might pull out a gun and take me out for the @#$@ of it. I also never go to any "traditional American" bars where these types hang out at. Not that it guarantees anything but it lowers the chances

It’s crazy to think that you might need it in church now smh.

i refuse. i absolutely refuse to carry in church for the fear of blasphemy. i honestly would rather take my chances with the 2 guns the good lord gave me at birth. but i will say this, multiple times ive definitely assessed the entry points an attack would come from and formed a plan on how to react should they come in thru either door. i do that damn near at every public place now. really a shame

So he used his military training to attack his own people? Nice country.

and hes not the first. smoke bombs? what citizen needs that? in what situation? but u already know how this goes. hes gonna be a good ol boy american and they will talk about how he had a mental disorder so the conversation switches from yet another home-cooked disgruntled colonizer victimizes the innocent en masse, over to we need to do more to help the mentally ill

this is because trump never cared about the troops. never tried to help the troops. and during his run for president he made those comments about mccain and POWs that showed he had no respect for troops. but people CHOSE to look the other way and excuse it away. u cant expect someone who uses the military only to garner votes (because their fan base is SO stupid that whenever someone says "god bless the troops" they give full unmitigated support) to actually try to help.

Damn near gotta be a hermit to make it thru life unscathed here in the U.S. :smh: :smh: :smh:

My gut tells me to get the **** outta here for my kid’s sake, but not sure where to go or how to make it happen.
This country is a joke. Our citizens love to massacre each other and the administration doesn't care unless the shooter is non-white.

The military is a magnet for the insecure and mentally fragile. They then train them and allow access to weapons nobody needs. Then they discard them into the world worse than when they went in.

the idea more needs to be done is way too general because there is a lot being done. there are a lot of resources for the men and women who come back home with PTSD especially at the base my wife works at. they are ALWAYS giving out resources to vets telling them to seek help if they need it and where to find it. huge problem is that mental health isn't something identifiable at a glance like when someone has the cold so you never know what they are going through so its hard to say I think YOU should go get help. the vets know they have resources. however, you can only lead a horse to water, you cant make them drink.
