Exactly. Man you can look at the culture, the architecture, the people and tell that Miami ain't the south. It's more of an international vibethan anything. Miami got more in common with NYC than it does with South Cackalacky.Originally Posted by mrXdaboss
ok im lost..... so what exactlly this post is about the dancing or the shoes the dude wearing ? i went to carol city middle in the 90's (damn im old) but im liberty city till i die. in regards of if miami the south yes it is but it does not suffer the stigmas that most southern cities contain. that is due to miami was always habitated and functioned as a major city now jacksonville, fl (where i live now) cuuuuunrty as all hell. thats because it was country at start (theres still farms here) you wont see farms in mia its a developed city. also what seperates mia apart as well is the amout of people that are out of towners that never leave ie fat joe. people migrating to miami has been happening well before i was born this changes the culture of a city. also the migration of the islands the miami heads in here know what it is there's a section on the mc donalds menu that contains cuban food (well it was before i moved). so parties prior right and the people that live in miami are both right . miami is the south you will see tall t's gold teeth and dreads. but its a city like all other big cities more compariable to maybe LA you will see high fashion, high end cars, etc.
