Hmmm...lets see, he makes a documentary condemning capitalism, then puts it out in movie theaters so he can charge everyone to go see it, so he can make millions of dollars off of it in our capitalist market. He was on Bill Maher's show the other day complaining that people who don't agree with Obama need to "shut up and let the president do his job." Now lets replace Obama with Bush, and republican protestors with democrat protestors, you think this idiot would be out there telling them to "shut up and let Bush do his job." Of course not, he'd be out there with a video camera trying to figure out how he can make a few million off of it....he's such a joke, I can't believe people actually listen to this guy.

what's been happening the last 40 years is not the same capitalism and it was previously. The wealth gap between the top 1% and the rest ofthe 99% is beyond ridiculous. That's not the old school american capitalism where if you work hard enough you can change income brackets. You will never beWEALTHY. The laws over the last 40 years have changed the american meaing of capitalism

So if you critique American capitalism or support a quasi-socialist agenda you don't believe in having a house or material possessions?

Some of you seem to lack the basic understanding of the issues at hand and probably shouldn't try to critique the man. Again, there is plenty of fertileground to attack both him and his politics, but at least try to make coherent and informed points when attempting to do so.

Exactly. Because he lives in America, the irony is that if he made movies in a way that the haters in this thread would accept as non-hypocritical, wewouldn't know who Michael Moore is in the first place.

No one needs to make films for the right wing. Their audience is huddled around talk radio or Fox News, clinging to the drivel spewed by thehateful. Their propaganda runs all the time....It's just called 'Fair and Balanced.' Interestingly enough, I would say a good portion of FoxNews's coverage is explaining why their coverage is different. It's like a constant advertisement saying 'this is what they failed to report'or 'where were you when....blah blah blah.' Anymore it seems that if you want to know what respectable news organizations are reporting in cliff notes,you'd just tune in to Fox News.
