Why is it that 1s come unlaced but most shoes come laced, I’m not sure what else comes unlaced

How you get gum soles on your Georgetown XI’s?

I wore the hell out of them...
Even though I live in Florida, keeping the in the box makes a difference... but when I leave them out it’s a wrap.
Even with my 3s, joints yellow faster than those in the box
