Before you say " :lol Mike is clearly faster than that"

Bruce is going full extension, and actually hitting something.

Bruh we gonna compare hitting a punching bag now? Someone already posted a vid on that.

I'm not saying lee is just an actor but show us a damn fight :lol

Tyson has zero skills using his legs/feet. Bruce would break his knee/ take away his mobility. Fight over.

All right, i'm off work!

had fun discussing this topic.

on my end note, while i do not know how well trained bruce lee was in anything, i do know that getting leg kicked by someone who has trained in kicking is going to hurt like a mother*. With that said, I think a few good leg kicks would've chopped Tyson down.

In a ring with boxing rules & gloves, there is no way Bruce can win. He can run around all he wants, but I don't believe his punches are strong enough to hurt a TRAINED boxer. Tyson will eventually catch him.

If you wasn't you.....I'd swear you was dense..

:lol

Man at the end of the day we're all talking nonsense with a "what if" fight.

But really though, "lee could do this and this" stories can be highly exaggerated.

Well enough to invite is own style...

JKD was never meant to be a style it's a philosophy.

Look up what Bruce or Dan Inosanto says about it.

There are no Krav Maga fighters in MMA.

Not effective?

Boxing and MMA are SPORTS. Please remember that.

KM has a military force using it. JKD? 8o

Don't know and don't care.

But "boxers or MMA" fighters using or not using an art is hardly a real barometer of it's effectiveness.

And there are 2 active MMA fighters that are JKD trained.

When I said effectiveness, i meant in terms of MMA and boxing.

But since it seems that you have a good general knowledge of MMA (no sarcasm), what do you think JKD is meant to be effective in? Just the general philosophy of incorporating different forms of martial arts?

Shannon Briggs could def beat Mike.

I trained with Dan Anderson who's about 5'10" 150, he was trained by Dan Inosanto, who was trained by Bruce.

Dan Anderson trained Shannon Briggs a couple years ago and he would toy with him, kicking in his kneecaps every time he got in range and landing like 7 quick strikes for every 1 Shannon threw.

this is what happens when a jeet kune do/wing chun/bull!@#$ martial arts fighter tries to fight someone disciplined in real effective martial arts

this is NO RULES early UFC so dont give me "oh its built for the streets" bs

tyson would KILL lee. literally. dude's brain matter would be spread across the canvas/street and end up on a *GRAPHIC* worldstar video
