tryna get my pops a throwback baseball jersey for christmas. hes about 5'10"/5'11", probably close to 250 lbs, typical older man build, gut from beer drinking and what not. they only have 56 (3xl) for the jerseys i like. i dont wnat it to be too big, because you cant return sale items. anyone have some thoughtS?

anything over a 48 (XL) in a m&n flannel looks ridiculously long on someone under 6 feet tall
unless they are well over 300lbs.

the chest letters will be too low & it'll look sloppy

Those throwback NBA jackets run their regular size even though it says tailored.

I've bought several of them in the past few weeks.

I'm 6'0 190 & the large fits perfect

The tailored MLB ones fit smaller though.
