I'm having the same problem that you are having with your aways and I think it's my biggest problem with this years iD's. If you want to use the gray color option and use anything other than black there isn't really a good color combination because you have to use the all white or black bottom. Doing anything like gray/red gray/navy gray/orange just never looks right because you have to put all white or black bottoms on them. After I messed around with iD all night I just ended up getting one pair of white/navy/red's for home and just going to skip getting an away pair iD'd for now and maybe look into the cool gray Jeters on Eastbay. If anyone finds a cool way to incorporate the gray with anything other than black I'd like to see it b/c I didn't find anything really yet.

QUESTION, when you put the mouse over the label on the tongue logo (the home plate with the nike sign on it... there's a label and everything for it, but you can't customize it... does this mean they were gonna make this an option and cut it and forgot to take out the label, OR is it hope for the future that we'll have more options? also... that piece below the base that is considered "base accent" is too big to be an accent, I just do not like the line of that piece, it really disrupts all of my ideas cuz it's SO ugly.

The diamond patent is a shinier plastic (and I know it comes on the black and red ones with the white toe that came out about a month or two ago) and the performance synthetic is a fake leather (more durable than regular leather, but obviously won't look as nice) that's not as shiny. I prefer the diamond patent because I think it just looks really flashy (especially if you have a brighter color on the toe), which is the whole point of wearing the Diamond Elites. Both still look look great, but I think if you have a bright color on the toe cap (white, orange, red, etc, and even maybe grey) then go with the diamond patent and if you have a dull color color (black, the dark green or blue) then go with the performance synthetic.

do you know anything about how it feels?

i only ask because i have the originally diamond elites and the toe cap was kind of uncomfortable where it creased and rubbed against my top of my toes. this was obviously something unique to the diamond elites because of leather. I have a bunch of different designs in my locker and if i go with a blue toe cap i would do the synthetic if i knew it was more comfortable than the leather (which i woudl use for yellow)

I've only worn the diamond patent toe once or twice (about 3 games total) and haven't had any problems with it pinching my toe. I've heard that that happens to some people and I also heard it's because they just aren't broken in, but I've barely broken mine in and it hasn't done it so I don't know if it's the material or just the shape of my foot... I'd go for it though because I've had normal shoes that have pinched by toes in the past and if you can bare it  for a day or two it tends to go away. Another tip is to try to crease the leather/plastic BEFORE you put them on your feet to loosen it up and keep it from pinching (some people won't like the extra lines it will put in the toe though, so it's up to you. maybe try the cleats on and if they pinch then work the leather/plastic to loosen it up?)
And Huarachelover32, those white and orange's are sick. I made some red ones like that. I personally think the coolest designs are all white with a slight accent in the laces, shox (i like the shox option or the max air one, the encapsulated air just looks to basic and normal) and swoosh (like you did, I just wish you could color the flywire without coloring that other little piece below the swoosh),

i honestly couldnt tell you. im guessing that since theyre at least 2 years old theyre gonna be hard to find. plus, this picture is from around april of this year and ive updated my "collection" since then. while the superbads look sick, theyre really stiff and a little uncomfortable and insanely heavy. if i were you, id make the move that i made and get the pregame trainers for this year

I wouldn't do it. Those still look really nice and you could save up for some of next years id's which will no doubt just be even more

tryin to figure out some cleats for my high school team.  were green white and black.  our home jerseys are white with white pants and a white and black hat. our aways are green with white pants and we have an alternate night game black jersey that usually winds up beiing our full time jersey as the season progresses.  in the past weve had the white mizunos with the green running bird and this year we want some black nikes.  which ones look the best?

to post a picture, click "images" on the banner on the top of the page (next to your username), and go to your photos to create an album. Upload whatever photos you want to that album, then in a NON-quickreply box (which you can get by clicking "quote" and then deleting the quote) you can click on the image attachment button on the top of the text box.

At least that's how to do it on macs, i dont know about pc's. And sf thresher, please don't just link photos, put the image directly into it.
