Worn the side part for a couple yrs now.. started just brushing it back with a matte look.. here's some older pics. but you get the point. Have used eveyything from layrite, suavecito, to blind barber

Am I the only one that doesn't like the fake parts? The ones that the barber does for you. I like parting my own hair naturally. Looks better IMO.
I wish I can do the slick back like Robert DeNiro. For some reason the side hair on my left only goes down or sticks out like as if I had gotten electrocuted.
I really want to do the Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne or Matt Bomer on White Collar hair style. I'd have to grow my hair really long but other than that I have no idea how to achieve that style.

Anybody's hair that is straight can part if it's long enough.
However, if you want short hair with a taper on the sides, you need an artificial part. That's the whole point of it lol.

That top hair bun would look better if the sides and back weren't shaved. I know the struggle though. I've tried growing my hair really long a few times but the areas around the ears get too messy and I end up getting a haircut.

Yeah I agree, I like the look of a top knot when all the hair is grown out not just the top. I almost got to where I could do that a few years back but just got to the point where my hair looked like a mop and I couldn't take it anymore.
