Most Popular In Their Prime (Streets Wise); Prime Time; Barry; Vick; or Bo Jackson?

For those not saying Bo or Prime you must be too young, and Im not hatin, yall just dont realize how popular these two were.

Bo knows was a household term, everybody followed Bo Jackson.

And Prime, I would be all spatted up for my bball games just cus of this dude

Sanders, just b/c he stuck around longer
Bo would have been #1 but that injury took him out prematurely

Around my way....its would have to be a tossup from Prime and Bo. IMO, Prime was more heavy in the streets.

Probably because Bubba Chuck never played in the NFL.

I assume OP mentioned all NFL players for a reason.

When does black=hood?

The question was which athelete was most popular in the streets/hood during their prime. If you don't think Jackie Robinson was a hero in the streets inthe 40's and 50's, you don't know history. Talk to any 70-80 year old black person about how much everyone looked up to this dude. He changedhistory. Maybe Joe Louis during his prime might be able match the same level of popularity.

I know he was a hero for all of America, but that wasn't the question.

Pro Stars

I think Prime Time's personality might give him the slight edge over Bo...he had dudes wearing their visors backwards and flipped upside down

Then Vick or Bo.

The question specifically said STREETS WISE.

Prime was rocking gold chains and doing the flashy @!@# that most "street" cats was into.

On top of that, Deion played for popular teams (Yankees, Braves, Cowboys, Niners, Falcons) which all had huge followings.

Who the +*@+ was watching Kansas City back when Bo was playing? Quick, name 1 Royal Bo played with.
