but what im asking is, is this dude just getting paid cash for a bunch of shows and he doesnt report, while the person who paid him reports it?
or is he getting paid checks for shows and he never claims it as wages earned?

Let's see...you give a guy with no education millions of dollars + leeching "friends" + taking care of family + living beyond his means + bad accounting = #poor
yea, i know that.
but what im asking is, do these guys get paid cash up front for shows and just never report it? then the club/venue reports it on their taxes and then the irs goes after nas?

I think when you reach his status that would be really dumb to be paid in cash. You're entering into a contract with each venue for a lot of money. The risk of having something go wrong and needing to take it to court versus being paid in cash isn't worth it.

i know waka isnt in nas' level, but i remember there being a video not too long ago when he got paid like 10k in fakes bills

ok, so nas comes to my club and i write him a check for say, 20k. at what point does the irs know what he is/isnt reporting?

when he deposits it into his account and his bank tells on him (theyr required to to do so)

He don't seem the type to trick off. Like myself I can see NaS just not paying taxes on some old forgetful nonchalant shh. Like I wasn't paying that when I was poor, why now? Can't get use to it.

If I was getting money like he is looking at what he owe taxes on, I'd take my time

Makes some sense for a dusted brotha like NaS. Like oh yeah I do have a house there.

A promoter got him out here in Houston that way.

It all depends on if the clubs promoter is going to file this form for the payment.

I guess his chains finally did excite the Feds. (I had to put "halftime" on my ITunes while reading this thread)

Anybody know his contact info? I got him. I'll go like half on the 25G's or whatever he needs me to do.

Not in the constitution for damn sure. Federal income tax, maybe not. But you bet your *%$ every state has tax income laws.
I hear this "oh but it's not in the constitution" remark a lot in American politics. But there are like 100000000000...etc laws and regulations that aren't in the constitution. That doesn't mean they can't/don't exists. It was made 224 years ago, the thing can't be consistently referred to for new laws. You know what's in the constitution, that it's perfectly legal to have slaves. Why can't I have one today? God damn it! It's in the constitution of the United States of America!

it shouldnt have come to this, but nasir will be aight....i think he has the money to pay it off, is just if and when he does......plus he's on a european tour and has an albun supposeldy coming out this year ......

In addition, the Queens, NY MC reportedly owes money for his condo in his hometown. Managers of the building claim he failed to pay his $420 a month assessment fee since January of last year, and have also filed a lien.

But its not all looking down for the Illmatic MC. Earlier this month his child and spousal support payments to ex-wife Kelis were cut in half. Originally ordered to pay about $51,000 a month, an L.A. Superior Court judge reduced Nas’s expenses to about $25,000.

its ok, she'll never have a successful recording career while people know what she did to Nas....da consensus around music fans is mutual, she's a money grubbing

gold digging hawk that got lucky with nas.

i don't know, guys.

I have a feeling that Nas can afford to toss 6 mil to the government.

On some "Damn. I'm having a horrible day" type steez.
