Before he goes to another team he needs to get his body conditioning right...lots of talent and potntial there but we've been sayin that since he got drafted, unfortunately he hasn't passed that stage yet, just a few "superstar" flashes here and there...proably the best situation for him (at this point) is right there on such a team, where he can continue to struggle to get his health/strength/consistency sorted...butttt I agree with the 12s comment

 Even though he played under the rim most of the time...Vince Carter, showed he can still fill it up...48 big ones against the Hornets....Lil' visit from Lawrence Frank (commissioned by the Magic) seemed to have played a big part...Don't get it twisted though, large scoring outburts from Vince will not return them to the Finals...

 Trying to fit and be that "missing piece" has been a tough task for RJ (he wasn't either in New Jersey or Milwaukee)...now it's being said that the Spurs' patience has worn thin with his "inability" to make them more dominant. Truth be told, a loss to the Lakers without Kobe and the Spurs almost at full strength ain't a knock on Jefferson but a magnification that the Spurs are a step slower/behind. I don't think the solution will be trading RJ or necessarily bringing anyone new in but them finding within themselves the urgency and REALLY realizing that this season is really their last chance at claiming a chip within the next 5years. That urgency more than anything else will be the difference between a close heart-breaking first round exit (and subsequent McDyess retirement) or second round sweep...remember that for the next few months...The inconsistency needs to be sorted NOW...
