I was thinking about adidas the other day and how they really need to step up their product design and marketing for Derrick rose. It's been hard for adidas to lock down a marketable franchise player since Kobe/Tmac. And now that they finally have a MVP calibre player in Rose they really need to do what they can to revive the brand.

After three years of being on Jordan Brand’s payroll, Dwayne Wade is finally getting his own signature sneaker.
Dwayne Wade has carried the torch for the signature Air Jordan series ever since he left adidas and signed with Jordan Brand in 2009. It was only a matter of time though before Team Jordan’s leading man got his own signature model and left his own sneaker legacy. He’ll begin that legacy with the Jordan Fly Wade, shown here in full detail for the first time, thanks to MarqueeSole. Sporting a Black/Red colorway, the sneakers feature a perforated upper with a carbon fiber overlay, a Phylon midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel, and a basketball shaped logo across the tongue with Wade’s number “3″ in a set of crosshairs.
According to reports, Wade will reveal the sneakers on-court during the 2011 NBA Playoffs, which is likely around the time of when you can expect the shoe’s to release. We’ll keep you updated as more details become available and let you know when an official release date is announced.
Only thing about this article is them saying he left adidas and not converse to head to JB....if there is to be any reliability in this thread, that lil' incorrect tidbit can bring this info into disrepute. But whatever the case, it's definitely a Wade sig and for his first run at a sig with JB, I like!....I wonder if he'll still be the one to break out the new Jay's from the the "numbered" line...

^nah , he's wearing 2011s in the Denver game...There isn't a Jumpman logo on the back heel on the Fly Wade's (positioned more on the side)...It's got potential imo...more Heat CWs will set them off...

And Jordan keep giving his players wack design . First Melo, CP , now Wade . I think the shoes will perform nice like the Melo line though so at least it's not too bad

^^agreed. As far as I know the sneaker lines for melo and cp perform pretty well. They're just not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye

i didnt know wade was with adidas before he went to JB... i know he was with converse... and converse was already a part of nike. so when was he with adidas?
maybe he should've kept wearing shoes from the Jordan line and not his own sig shoe.. cause everything JB puts out, melo's, cp3 and now wade.. all with the suckiest shoes.. and that is so bad, even pathetic for players that are the top talents in the league

I was always a fan of Melos sig line. The M3 is my favorite. Very very comfortable and a very underrated bball shoe IMO. The M7 is a dope shoe too. I hope JB hits Melo with a NYK PE for the playoffs
