 Millsap and the Jazz continue on their impressive Giant-Killers run...nice win over Orlando last nite

 

Shame on ESPN's Colin Cowherd basically calling Wall overrated and selfish...dude is anything but and showed an all-round game last nite that shows his career will shape up just fine

 

That would've seem a pretty hasty move for UA to have designed a preliminary PE for Gilbert if he hasn't actually signed with them...but on the flipside, very professional and shows their preparedness to offer a "big name" something new if they're being considered- definitely helps your marketing pitch. But for the Nike lover and NBA Feet fan in me...Gil, continue giving us something to look out for everytime you step on the court with kicks from your closet!

 After selling off his miniority stake in the Lakers, seems like Magic Johnson is hot on the trail of getting ownership privileges with another team....Consultations with Wizards Ted Leonsis maybe?

I'm no expert on endorsees of those Brands (really now where's RockDeep at!!!??) and what they get but I doubt that Nike would've been sending him product and would be giving him retros over what they're trying to push on the market now, like Hyperdunks and Hyperfuses etc...and before his Adi days he's been known to rock a few well known Nikes... But I get you, good question.

Nate Robinson is getting, and wearing, stuff from Jordan Brand, GR's.

I personally don't know if they are indeed from Gil's closet, but I get free stuff from Nike, and I am not a professional athlete, and then not signed by them either. Point is, wherever a shoe company can get some free endorsement, they are in there, especially Nike. The more athletes are seen wearing something that you can buy in a store, the better. JB had a bad two quarters, then with people complaining about the quality of their retro's, what better way to encourage buyers than to have someone like Gil and Nate wear them during games?

Gil gets free shoes, JB gets free ad space.

I have also been to Niketown SF when players came in grabbed a bunch of gear and shoes then went up to Customer Service and they checked them out there against their "allowance".... Pietrus was one of the them.
