Dantoni didnt coach these boys how to react to that 1-4 PnR?? Absolutely frozen when dray was coming down the lane

Dray needs to do whatever it takes to develop a floater. He’ll get the bag

Dudes think basketball is played on a piece of paper. This nerd style of basketball manufactured by Harden, MDA and Morey is a joke. **** won't win you anything, just a bunch of empty pretty stats and fool some fans into thinking your great.

They get a reality check every single playoffs.

I can rock with analytics to a certain extent. But relying solely on that stuff is a recipe for failure. It overlooks all sorts of intangibles a computer isn’t capable of recognizing. It’s practical to an extent but that’s where it stops.

In 2019 they weren't. I don't see how anyone can claim that.
Unless you are loading your top 4 with a bunch of East teams, Houston is most certainly a top 4 team in the league. CP and Capela missed a combined 39 games in the regular season and they were still only 1 game shy of the 2 seed.

Golden State is about to win this next series in 4 or 5 easy.

You ain't gon deflect from your legend Harden choking again :lol

I already said Steph showed out, you late.

Nah. Westbrook is literally unable to get his team out of the first round. It can't happen. Westbrook and Kyrie gotta be tied at the top.

Harden was good in the first round and for the majority of this series.

He shot 37/35% in the 1st rd :lol

And he disappeared in big moments in this series. Once again he ain't live up.

denver has no chance and portland has even less of a chance against the warriors.. unless jokic turns into serbian kareem, warriors in 5

Kyrie really doesn't deserve the slander. He was never good enough to deserve the slander. Harden, Westbrook and Embiid are All-NBA 1st/MVP level type of players, whereas Kyrie's All NBA 3rd team level talent at best.

The ones who deserve the slander are morons who thought Kyrie was ever good enough to even be considered as a player who could possibly win an NBA championship as the #1 guy.

Kyrie definitely deserves slander. First, he forces his way out of Cleveland because he wants to be the #1 guy, then he proceeds to crap on his teammates, be an awful leader and play awful in the playoffs. Everyone knows he's not a #1 guy, but he still played poorly.

But all the teams left are big on analytics?

The team that just beat Houston is deep in Silicon Valley.

Analytics isn’t magic. It’s just data. It’s just quantifying what’s happening on the court. It’s used as a supplement.

Just like a MRI is used by docs. The MRI is data. Doesn’t mean docs aren’t needed.

And they play defense right?

They don't have a one track mind on offense right?

Idk man. Something happened to them in that spurs series. Like they grew up 3 years in 2 weeks from that. This feels like a different Denver team than what the warriors saw.
I would say that if they weren't struggling against a short-handed Portland team. I got the upmost respect for the Nuggets, but I just think they have some room to grow as far as playing to their full-potential and they're defense is lacking.

Houston ain't better than Milwaukee, Toronto, or Denver.

They top 5 at best.

Nah bro, you're wrong on this one. The Rockets aren't the only team that uses an analytics based approach. The Warriors were one of the first teams to do it, and the Bucks use it a lot as well.

If you look at a bucks shot chart, it's either shots at the rim or threes, analytics dictate that that's how the most efficient teams play.
