And win

I don't feel like looking it up but who had the higher win shares? I bet its steph.

Stockton wasn't the greatest passer of all time (Magic would like a word with anyone who wants to debate this).

Zeke wasn't the greatest anything of all time.
Didn’t Isiah Thomas eliminate Jordan from the playoffs 3 years in a row, with Joe Dumars as his side kick? Didn’t he win back to back championships?

Put some ******* respect on IT name

He’s one of the 50 greatest.

Wash your face.

Oh. And he has a finals mvp

NBA Assists leader in 85

Almost every time. Out of respect for them, I won’t post them.
Point is KD was involved in convos with “sawces” and tried to play like he wasn’t.

Using social media private messaging or texting is same thing in this day and age.

Zeke beat MJ, Bird and Magic. Won b2b while all of them were playing.

I agree with that.

But I feel like Chris purposely said “text” to give us the impression that he has some sort of access. If KD didn’t say anything, the next time Broussard said something like “I think KD is going to the Knicks” it would hold more weight because now we’re under the impression that Broussard is close enough to KD that KD regularly texts him to “discuss life.”

As it is right now, DMs don’t mean anything. Broussard could post something on IG, and KD chooses to respond via DM. That’s an entirely different thing than KD texting him. Social media is all about interacting. Hell, I talk to people in this thread every day. I would never give any of y’all my number tho.

Only reason I have an issue with it is because Broussard having KD’s number would help Broussard’s career/credibility. And I think he knew that when he said text.

You said it like Joe Dumars isn't a hall of famer :rofl: FOH!

Like Dennis Rodman isn't a hall of famer.

Like Adrian Dantley wasn't HOOPING averaging 20+ and like he isn't a hall of famer too!!

Like Chuck Daly wasn't a hall of fame coach.

Like they called Vinnie the microwave FOR NO REASON AT ALL--- HE WAS COOKING FOLKS!!!

LIKE MARK AGUIRE WASN'T AVERAGING 20!

MAN SHUT UP!!!

I can see that. Guess I’m saying the word texting has morphed in the last few years. If Chris said he sms me then I really know his true intent.

Didn't KD do the same **** when Stephen A said he was hearing from people connected to KD that he thinking about leaving... Then KD left. :lol

He beat Magic in the finals when Magic and Byron both pulled their hammy's in the same game (or maybe within a game of eachother in the finals)!

Bird's back had quick on him by 88-89.

Mike had Doug Collins calling the plays a few of those years.

There is a legit argument to be had here but yall aren't using any context.

Steph out here with

KD HOFer
Klay HOFer
Dray probably HOFer
Steve Kerr HOF player and Coach

And he still don’t have a finals MVP

So you shut up

Zeke had a bad ankle in the 88 finals. You can nitpick at everybody if that's the road you wanna take

Fact is he beat 'em.

Lol @ him thinking a weak GIF of Kerr holding up rings he won on the backs of others proves any kind of point.

By that definition Robert Horry is in the hall as a player.

Kerr will probably get in as a coach, but not as a player.

Just skip over what I said about Win shares why don't you (still haven't checked the numbers but, I said what I said).

EDIT:

Checked the Win Shares (An estimate of the number of wins contributed to a team by a single player...a method that is CERTAINLY NOT ANTIQUATED):

Steph Curry (2013-2016): 13.4, 15.7, 17.9

Stockton (best year w/s wise 1988-89): 15.6

Zeke: (best year w/s wise 1984-85): 11.2 ----> That number is relatively low likely because his teammates were so good... Stockton's number was probably higher than Thomas' because it was just Stockton and Malone I'm guessing.

Even when you look at Zeke and Stockton's best 3 year stretches from a general standpoint, they still don't beat Curry in any year.

Stockton has Curry beat in Assists, but I'm not sure that Zeke has Curry beat in anything except the almighty finals MVP category (LOL).

So yeah it's a team sport but we've got ways to quantify individuals direct impact on wins.

I'm in agreement with added wins stat. However leave the assist and point portion out of it.

Game has changed a lot since the 80s and 90s. Fast breaks and playing fast weren't things every team could do. Only a handful you also didn't have 8 sec half court violation.

Anyones stats today are going to look better then in the past. Ie klay Thompson 27 point quarter vs gervin 26.

Stockton was a great player but never had to shoulder a scoring load like curry does he played alongside the greatest scoring pf ever.

Zeke just played with heart. Was AI before AI cant be mad at him for what his front office was able to do. He was the heart and soul of that team back then.

Stats don't tell the whole story.

Also no way steph survived the 80s and 90s. Great shooter but his handle would have to change. Rules were more strict back then. Moving screens got called lol
