Everytime they "turned" on their defense this year there has always been a rotation player they could flat out ignore.

The Raptors don't have a dude in their rotation you can just ignore.

I think GS wins but I wont be shocked if the Raps pulled it off.

Especially if Powell and Van Fleet keep showing up

If Danny Green keeps playing like a bum I guess he could be a candidate, but yea the Raptors are more well equipped to make GS work than anybody outside of Houston because they use all the scoring areas on the floor. And their best player is a threat from everywhere unlike Harden.

I think people are undervaluing what Toronto did to Milwaukee like everyone thought this would happen.

Milwaukee still had the best defense in the playoffs before playing Toronto, had the best defense in the season and the 3rd best offense in the season (not far behind GSW). What Toronto did to Milwaukee in those last 4 games defensively cannot be overlooked at all. I'm sure Toronto will be capable of scoring against GSW because they were able to do it against THE best defensive team in the league this season.

Also, just as important...Toronto can indeed play in the halfcourt and I think they will do a good job in making sure they don't get into too much of an up and down game against GSW. Not to mention the next most important factor outside of Kawhi/Siakam -- Marc Gasol. Marc has a history of playing extremely well against GSW. For the same reasons Marc essentially pushed Toronto over a team like Philly with Embiid, I can see the same in this situation.

Will this be in a walk in the park? No. But, I just really see a whole different series here without KD. Hopefully, no one "accidentally" undercuts Kawhi this time around.

Siakim kind off. If they decide to start trapping Leonard that's where I expect the help to come from.

This discussion isnt Warriors defense versus Raptors defense though.

To me, the big question is 5 and a quarter games enough to tell what we're getting with this iteration of the warriors? Are they still as good as 2015 16? It's a different beast without Durant, time will tell.

we hope it's a competitive series just for the sake of having a fun entertaining series, but we all know the dubs been on another level
just don't see how you beat a team that gets good/great shots everytime down the floor and at the same time, play lock down defense

I have no doubt that the Raptors defense is very capable, I just don't know where they are going to get consistent scoring from. The Warriors are alot more active offensively than most of the team the Raptors played so we'll get some shots off too and our team defense isn't lacking either. I think the Raptors raise their odds if Siakam doesn't get shut down and their role players step up EVERY GAME.

I agree, but even if they step up a couple games along with Lowry consistent ball then they can squeeze out some pivotal wins. That along with Kawhi blacking out a game or two then the Raptors might be cooking with some hot grease...

Warriors are better than Milwaukee. Toronto was just scraping by those wins. Milwaukee best player is limited offensively. Curry the best shooter of all time. Klay top 5 too. KD in the discussion too. Milwaukee 2nd best player is Middleton. Warriors 2nd best player is Kevin Durant. And if he doesn't play, Klay. If Kyle lowry struggles, it's over. If van vleet struggles, it's over. If siakim or Serge struggle, it's over. Danny green? Soulja boy face, dannnnny greeeeen??? Man warriors can't wait to play these dudes. Y'all in here nekkid n sweaty saying raptors winning this in any amount of game. Thursday gonna give y'all some ack right.

I actually commend those guys for re-engaging themselves after being down 2-0. Nick Nurse needs to get some credit too for making the right adjustments. Toronto has a chance if they stay discipline and keep their poise.

they haven't. Why am I goofy:lol:

Show me some proof they've been. Not some mamba blood, turn on a switch type answer.
They made CJ and Dame look Reggie af after they looked like God's vs OKC and Denver. And by Reggie af...I mean...Reggie Jackson af. Both were Reggie Jackson.

Dame himself said there were points they swarmed after the PnR switch and he couldn't even get shots off.
