Draymond and steph weren't playing in the only game Kawhi played this season against the warriors. Durant and Kawhi were out the other. Cant really use that as a sample

He was able to do it fine in the matchups this season against GS both with and without Kawhi. They had zero issues scoring against GS, yes the playoffs are different but that's all we have to go against since y'all wanna discard everything else that's been consistent in the regular season and playoffs so far.

Not even factoring in how careless we know GS can get with the ball and give teams easy buckets on the other end.
Curry does get careless with passes so I can't dispute that. But, this Toronto team hasn't faced a Warriors team that moves quite like this. They faced a Warriors team that was more stationary which resulted in less rhythmic play. We were way too skill than execution up until KD got hurt. You should know man, playoff basketball is different. Game is more physical, players fold under pressure, weaknesses get taken advantage of, adjustments are made from game to game, but most importantly, teams with familiarity and comradery to tend to perform better.

I think I'm just really lost as to why you guys think Toronto is so special. Kawhi is very amazing. The rest are very mediocre to good. Who did Toronto play so far that has you thinking they can beat the warriors? Milwaukee overachieved tbh. They built a foundation on a flawed superstar. And his weaknesses came to light nightly. Who else did Toronto beat? That has guys sold? Toronto's defense is good, but don't be gassed off it because giannis struggled, considering he can't shoot consistently out of 5'. Bledsoe been buns when it matters. And Middleton is not in the elite conversation. Kawhi has more variety and depth to his game than giannis. But he pulled his team to the finals. Guys still scared to take open shots. Siakim is debateably not NBA talent. Lowry is hot and cold. Danny been absent all playoffs. Serge is old. Marc is moves like Frankenstein. Y'all saying kawhi is basically Bron? Well Bron lost 3 of the last 4 to this team. And kawhi is NOT as good as Bron...so....

3 peat coming. Y'all setting yourselves up for disappointment. Imagine hating greatness just because dudes are lightskin. Wild times.

Lowry and Van Vleet will have to work much harder on defense than they did against the Brick-city Bucks.

That will take away a lot of the extra offense they provided last series.

Bucks missed lots of good shots or shots they normally hit.

Mostly agree with you. Kawhi has to put up 35+ every night while deferring to Gasol, Green, Lowry, Powell, and Siakam. Tall order night in, night out if you ask me. The Warriors will probably let one of them get their points off, but I guarantee all the other guys will be winded, missing shots, or nervous as hell.

The Raptors dared the Bucks to hit 3s and they shot horrible from long range.

Plus we talking about a super star with one move. Ok defense line up in front of the rim. Superstar neutralized.

Green and Kawhi will be the only ones experienced to handle that style of play game 1.

Serge will as well if they actually play him. Raptors have plenty of playoff veterans on their squad I'm not worried about the inexperience like I would have if MIL would have made it, but they would gave presented a different set of problems for GS. But we'll just have to see.

Danny Green, Lowry and Freddie are so inconsistent i dont know what youll get from them. Lowry can at least still impact the game im multiple ways without scoring

Can't wait.

I swear some of y’all building the Raptors up just to tear them down

Y’all been saying they’re going to lose to the Sixers and Bucks just to flip around and say they’re going to beat GSW

Let’s be clear, in no universe are the Raptors the favourites to win the title.

And I want them to win more than anybody

True, some people just wants GSW to lose rather than purely rooting for Toronto. But, I see some good arguments in here on both sides.
