so steph using picks, a huge element of the game which every team employs, is now being used to discredit his greatness and impact on the court? the NBA should just be ISO heavy ball where a ballhandler can get past his defender? this dude still think 2 point poster dunks > made 3 pointers?

Using the way he gets his points as a way to downgrade Steph’s ranking as a player is ridiculous. Using picks properly, moving with out the ball, always being able to get into a open spot are all skills. He should be given credit for being elite at all those things.
The points about his defense are valid though, IMO. During the Warriors run he’s had the benefit of always being surrounded by top level defenders in Klay, Dray and Iggy, so there’s little pressure on him on that end. That’s part of why I can’t entertain Steph in any GOAT discussion. Steph’s career achievements might look a little different if he didn’t have the benefit of being supported by multiple elite defenders during his prime.

I responded to see where that energy was when those Kawhi jokes were getting off. That's all.

Thanks for making my point.Kawhi is not running a P&R to draw a switch then go to work. Also you gon tell me the Hill wasnt the weak link for the Raptors on that posession you posted?
he is using the PR to get downhill which is way different then what Harden and rockets do. of switching to the smallest guy and making him play defense.
Steph can hide if he wants too. That is not the Raptors game plan.
They will limit transition and make a bigger point to not let Draymond pick up pace
