If they didn’t KD, I’m almost certain GS would’ve strengthened their bench and added depth to the roster. KD is making 30+ M$ so that has depleting the bench as well. Giannis shouldn’t even be in the convo with KD. His game isn’t even complete yet. Jumper still shaky. KD is the best player in the league. StephVp and Harden are in the argument as well.

Yea but people are crowning KD based on what he did in the regular season with OKC. From that standpoint G belongs in the convo as of this year with his MVP campaign. If/when he finishes it with a championship against KD I have to give him the edge. Isn't that what gave KD the edge over Bron?

Who put it all on KD? And what was KD doing in that game 7? Yall really forgot the whole 'KD is beta' phase when he would defer to Russ and not impose his will. And even when he did, it was ugly at times

Giannis is a better defensive player and( I know you guys are going to call me hater for this) I defer to the player not playing with 3 other all-stars.
Even the biggest Durant fan has to admit his job is much easier than Gianniss and he's not asked to carry the same load.

In a way PG went to OKC and KD went to GSW for the same reason. Less pressure, just opposite ends of the spectrum. PG can play like trash and lose in peace because no matter what, Russ is gonna play louder and worse than him. And KD can cook in peace because you can't pay full attention to him and Steph is nice enough to let him shine
