NBC employee claims Bill Cosby paid off women, invited young models to dressing room.

I've already addressed this with you. Figure out who you're talking to, read my initial reply to you that you avoided, and then come back when you have a meaningful response to it.

All those words only to turn around and say "oops wrong guy, my bad" :smh:

I said my bad.

So what did I miss in your initial reply. Please restate and I will address. No problem.

I am definitely making note of those preaching personal responsibility politics toward rape victims.

Because when the next time the police murder a brother after he commits a minor offense (which is all know is unfortunately inevitable in this ****ing country), I want to see if they keep the same energy with some "he shouldn't have put himself in that position talk". Or is it gonna be...

Would have taken less time / calories / characters to just say what you mean Fam.
No it wouldn't have. I wrote more than two sentences in my original reply to you. You know how to navigate this website, so I don't understand why I need to spoon-feed you all of a sudden.

Are they at fault for anything? Or nothing?

Cause if it's nothing, the guy on the other end probably feels that way too
Are they at fault for Cosby physically putting his hands on them of not worse? No. They could chug a bottle and take all the damn pills, that doesn’t magically make Cosby do anything. Cosby chose to do what he did.

Again, they, the females, could of done any and everything, Cosby still chose to do what HE did. Period

Yup.
Don’t want to hear it. And using bill Cosby of all people to fight their good fight lol. It’s pathetic

= your opinion

Thanks for sharing.

Anyway...

The need to always be right can be rooted in a few different things. Firstly, a common belief is that it is a mask for insecurity – and it often is. The person is concerned with how others will perceive them if they are wrong or they feel that they are not meeting whatever expectations are on them to be right.

What's really sad is we are all actually in agreement.

People just getting caught up in the delivery.

You could have just came out and said "you all are just trying to be politically correct"

So now we have political correctness, immaturity, lack of reasoning, lack of understanding, naivete, and a laundry list of arguments from fallacy as the reasons that people disagree with you

Maybe people just think it's gross and weird for you to keep harping about the personal responsibility of victims in a rape thread?

That's true.

And they are perfectly welcome to feel that way - whether its actually true or not.

I may "feel" its "political correctness, immaturity, lack of reasoning, lack of understanding, naivete, and a laundry list of arguments from fallacy" for people to claim that advocating personal responsibility is equal to victim blaming, but it aint gonna change anyone else's opinions, correct?

I may "feel" its "gross and weird" for people to invest in false equivalence / logical fallacies in order to win arguments like they are somehow helping the victims of sexual assault by saying "drink all you want girl, take those pills, go to that strange dudes house" like its all good in these streets - but it aint gonna make a difference.

Reality does not conform to social constructs.

True / False = matters of fact

Right / Wrong = matters of opinion

Conflate the two at your own risk.

Nothing like a little victim-blaming to kickstart the day.
I swear each time I come here it's some new BS. Some of yall about to go bald with all this cappin yall doing in here. Victim Blaming is nothing but a fancy new term created to circumvent accountability and common sense. We don't live in a world where people can afford to be this naive. Common sense dictates that drinking too much alcohol will leave you in an inebriated state where you are not fully in control of your actions. So maybe not drink so much....🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Or is that victim blaming?

Telling someone to be careful isnt victim blaming...

Telling the young ladies if you want to keep your panties on, cut down on the drinks is victim blaming...not that hard to understand...

"be careful" = general advice
"ladies if you want to keep your panties on, cut down on the drinks" = Victim blaming aka sleaze mentality

That makes sense. Who has an issue with that?

Your position is advocating for personal responsibility in any situation, regardless of what the outcome is correct?
