NBC's Community Thread - 6/2 - Ep. 13: "Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television"

this show hasn't been funny / consistent in about 2 seasons now, I still watch weekly because it use to be so good and made me laugh so much but, it's done. Time to end it.

That episode could have been better if they showed the interactions between Shirley's in-laws
with Troy, Abed, Annie, and Pierce.

This was the first time this season I felt as though I was watching something remotely close to what I liked about Community. Not that I thought all the episodes up to this point were bad, but, like many others have said, it didn't feel like Community.

Britta looked more attractive than usual in this episode.

Troy had some good lines in this one. I laughed at Shirley's apron.

Really enjoyable episode.

That's purely a budget issue. It's certainly not a blanket excuse for declining quality... but if you have limited money, hiring more actors is something the show will actively avoid. You can do it better, of course, because it felt like 70% they wanted to do the prison movie/show homage and 30% they realized they couldn't afford extra actors.

Always thought the Dean was gay. Never questioned it. Once we saw his infatuation with Jeff it was pretty clear.

Nothing done this season is anything more outrageous or too far than past seasons.

it was kind of a bottle episode.

Won't get to watch til tomorrow but I love the documentary episodes so I'm excited.

I liked this ep but I do feel these writers are just rehashing the already good ideas from past seasons instead of trying to spice it up and do more creative ones. So while I liked the ep it's not gonna top other eps like it. So if I'm suppose to expect another paintball ep I'd at least want them to push it to the limit or go too far :lol

Love the focus on Chang though. It'll be nice to see where this goes

:lol @ Jeff kissing his wife like that.

I enjoyed the episode, I chuckled quite a bit and even though it was lame humor, I lol'd at the Chang scene during the credits.

And I wanna give Allison Brie a high five :o

The tag ruined the emotional conclusion to the episode. They had a great ending with Chang and Jeff shaking hands and realizing even if he's faking it's because he wants a real second chance... But that was completely undercut by the end credits. Disappointing.

The show still isn't as laugh out loud funny but oh well. And in the past the documentary episodes have been important character episodes for Abed, but this seemed just to use the format and that's it.. Plus he was in front of the camera more.

Other than that it was good and felt more like last season

Thought the episode was good.

I hope they improve as time goes on. Britta looked really good in this episode. :o

Yeah last night was a pretty good episode. Troy and Annie needs more scenes together, I was hoping something would of developed between them a couple seasons ago
