NES Classic Mini re-releasing 6/29/18 retail $60

For those that do want to brave line ups better to do it sooner within the 1st month of release than later. The longer you wait the colder the weather gets and the competition gets harder, especially once we get into the holiday season.

I got charged the full amount too but I just got charged $16 on Friday and I don't know for what the full amount is still pending in my transactions

Anybody BB charges completely disappear and money back on card?

I asked my friend and his charges are still there

I hope these people already listing SNES Classic's on eBay all get testicular cancer.

No cancer that I know if yet, but they removed my listing and I'm not able to list on there for 7 days.

Sucks because mine was one of the more reasonable priced ones on there. Oh well. I'm more likely going to use the extras I have as trade bait more than anything.

They haven't even released yet :lol. Everyone was (rightfully so) scrambling for a preorder just in case Nintendo drops the ball on release date (which is definitely likely). But saying they should have made it easier to cop a PREORDER doesn't make any sense. If everyone who wanted one got a preorder, then who would buy it on release date?

Aye bruh I know it's upsetting.. chill with that talk though. TC almost kilt ya boy :frown::

Damn. Happy you've got your health. Real talk. I have 2 family members that beat cancer and we thought we lost my auntie after a blood clot, but luckily she made it.

I don't mean it. I thought I was being obviously sarcastic. I just don't like this resell culture. Some kids are going to miss out on playing these great games because people want to take advantage of Nintendo's underproduction.

That's like saying Jordan was supposed to make the Kaws 4 a GR

The whole point is that not everyone is supposed to be able to get one

I don't know what a "Kaws" is, but this is a video game machine. Since when did consumer electronics become boutique items? That sounds ridiculous.

Not a single soul is chasing these things because of the games on them. If people were concerned only with the games there wouldn't be a crisis in the first place

All of these games minus SF2 are and have been easily accessible for years upon years now. Ranging anywhere from FREE to about $10 at most

I'd probably go as far as to say I don't think a single kid today even gives a damn about the SNES Classic. The only people chasing these things down are older game heads or resellers

People are buying it because it's an official Nintendo product with 20+ SNES games that can be played in native HD for $80.

Try getting a TLOZ, FFIII, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, or Super Metroid cart for $10. Not even CIB, just a loose cart. Or find Star Fox 2 at all. It would cost hundreds of dollars. Then it would cost a couple hundred more to get a good upscaling set-up. People are spending $300 to upscale retro consoles.

It's meant to be played. A lot of kids got to enjoy the NES for the first time through the NES Classic. You don't think some parents wouldn't want to cop one for their family? FOH.

Officially they aren't available for a low price. Unofficially they're available through emulation for less than the price of this console.

The point he was trying to make, in my opinion, was that this console isn't the only way to play these games; albeit the other ways are unofficial. And that because of this fact this console is more of a collectors item.

You said it yourself right there man. The kids themselves don't have any desire for these things. Parents want their kids to play them because they did as kids not because their kid asked for it

Also, literally ANY retro game that's ever existed can be played for FREE through emulators that are very easy and simple to set up on any computer. 85% of homes in america have a computer

So stop trying to sound like SNES Classic activist to cover up your saltyboyz attitude towards Nintendo because you didn't cop a pre-order

Sounds like you're trying to justify people buying it for any reason other than actually using it. If you're not buying it to play the thing or to help a friend who's going to actually play the thing, just admit you're taking them away from people who will and making them pay more.

FTR, I never denied any saltiness. I still don't have a NES Classic. I hope Nintendo over produces these and resellers are stuck with extras.

I got a feeling these things are going to be produced on the level that if you make somewhat of a decent effort to land one you'll be successful.

I'm not really trying to justify anything. I've copped 2 so far and only reason for that is to have a backup in case anything goes wrong with either of them

I just get triggered by people thinking it's Nintendo's job to make sure they hold everyones hand on their way to getting a console or people throwing a fit in general because they didn't cop on the first batch of pre-orders like a lot of people did

Then what was the whole limited release Jordan's "not everyone is supposed to get one" rhetoric about? Nintendo doesn't have to hold anyone's hand, but why can't everyone who wants one to legit use, get one? I just want to walk in Best Buy the day or week of release and walk out with one.
