Man I feel you I have the same problem and I'm in between the same size haha

I usually get the 3/8 and if there is no 3/8 which is the case most of the timewith me I get the 1/4. But I'm cheap when it comes to hats if the 3/8s fits too loose and the 1/4 fits too tight then F that hat I got like 15 Ihaven't even wore yet.

go up they shrink depending on how much you wear it...

All fitted caps are not the same exact size...they ALL fit a little different. With that being said...I would try on all 3 sizes of the hat you want in thestore to see which one fits the best. I wear a 7 1/2 but I have a couple 7 5/8, 7 3/4 even a 7 3/8 that all fit different...so get the one that fits u best,use ur size as ur starting point.

Go down. It's easier to stretch the hat right then it is to shrink IMO. Just do the knee thing and you should be close to the middle of the two sizes.

ditto. i've got a dresser draw full of hats that fit too big (recent purch's) and boxes in attic that are too tight.
