The irony of this is that literally every actual athlete they've had on the show can't act their way out of a paper bag (the cameos, like Wozniacki tthis week, are just painful). They have to make compromises on this. Sure, you don't buy Ricky as a real football player, but the alternative is casting REAL professional athletes who literally can't act. Just deal with it, man.

Why don't you buy Ricky as a real football player? He's a slot receiver on the show and was one in college. Hines ward was like 5 foot 9... Not sure why he isn't beleiveble.

Also, 90% of professional athletes sound like something is missing when they speak. Most are very monotone and dull, so the acting of some of them fits.

I actually like Ricky's character and T Suggs didn't do that bad but he's not an actor.

Ricky was actually a RB in college and was a lot bigger
 
desean Jackson is 5'9 and under 170 (or at least he was at the combine).. Edelman isn't that big

you got a ton of slot guys who are under 5'10 if we're talking just WRs

antionio brown is just a shade over 5'10

RBs, there are a ton that are short

That's all I'm saying. Dude is nitpicking. If that's the stuff that bothers you about a show, just keep it moving.

There's no real antagonist so far. Reggie was a good villain season 1 but the only one so far is Andre and we've seen very little of him.

Watch the preview for next week's episode. I think they just wanted to establish his character, rather than make it a focal point the entire season. They'll be coming back around to him soon.
