I do believe he is trying to do good, but at the same time be the most powerful celebrity around. But looking back, he always had a political and religious point of view so maybe changed isn't the right word to describe his progress

I probably could've worded it better, but I meant that Kanye is trying to be the most powerful celebrity around, (not that he already is).
I do think he is very influential, creative, and capable to do great things. In the end I'm rooting for him. But I know his "message" is going to get lost, and the general public won't understand. Definitely an uphill battle.
