The leather looks so cheap.
Looks like the grey/blacks are confirmed but IDK the deal with the grey/white
personally very relieved that the es22s are sitting i might stroll into FL and make 'em an offer for 2 at a big discount, something tells me i can make it happen. i still want the navy and gator ones (although I'll have to see these in person cuz the gum on these def looks like it could be off, I do think it meshes well with the blue ones. i just don't understand why they release 4 cws at once, even if they were in demand there's no way to make that work... it's not THAT hard to space out your releases is it? I dunno the 4 cw release makes no sense to me, sounds like they got Emmitt to pay for it and they're just letting him take the hit on a one-off attempt at this retro

TRUTH!!!! Repped!Nixon, a couple of us have discussed this before but Reebok knows absolutely nothing about marketing. You're right - ES22 doesn't have a cult following so they should've spaced out the releases and focused on retroing them correctly and with good materials. The Black/Gum model looks like a low quality, NSW retro - maybe someone can try a sole swap with the Grey/Blue pair and put the Blue sole on the Black and Blue pairs.

Unless that store employee is your boy, I don't.

I'm not sure what to do with Reebok. I feel like Adidas may not want that brand to get too heavy in the higher priced market. It feels weird that the es22s started at 140 I was assuming 110-120 as that's one typical consistent trait is a more generous price point. My blue toes did not blow me away the way the Red Toes I've seen in person do. I'm still a big fan, and I love the tumbled leather on my answer IVs probably even more, might still try and track down a cheap backup pair cuz that Tyron Lue moment is just mmm magnifique. But yah I've thought about writing a letter with some design ideas for reebok.
I think the es22 would make for a great "muppet" series, who's with me? felt like uppers colormatched to the different muppets. haha i'm half joking. i think it would be sweet

oh well not right now but in a month or two if they're still there.
I never paid retail for a pair of sneakers that weren't 'big demand' as a kid growing up, dad taught me how to negotiate. If you think they're sittin on a lot of stock... I'd bet in 1 trip to the mall I could talk a mgr into selling me 2 prs + 2 packs of socks for $200+tax... I mean the store is paying like $65-75 for these and they'd rather make a few backs then have to pack them back up and ship them out and just have the wholesale cost deducted from their bill.
You'd be amazed what you can negotiate for when you try.
