I’m good with the move. He started off slow last season but 2nd half was much more towards his norm.
Overall really good guy. Had many a games against him and many a conversations on the base paths.
Plus this move had to have been made with the ability to upgrade 3B/2B.

Yea his 2nd half was just about back to his norm. Rumblings that he could talk Nolan into waiving his no trade clause to come here as well but would depend on what we’re giving up and how much money Cardinals are willing to eat.

On the decline though. So 3 years is a bit much imo
Especially when it'll be $30mil a year for Nolan and DJ for the next 2 years... Give me Gleyber who will produce as much offensively, likely more if Nolan continues to decline. Added some defensive guys and improved the pitching. A bit less focus on Gleyber
