That has nothing to do with AoA AT ALL.I dunno, TDKR kinda doesn't age well for me now. Still a really good story but I dunno about best of the best. It's iconic cuz it completely changed how Batman was written (and that's funny cuz most ppl should've just looked at it as a future elseworlds story like DOFP).
When did they **** up Age of Apocalypse? Nothing related to that story has been in the movie (Legion, Apocalypse, time travel to the past, Bishop, etc.)
I aint talking out my ***. The "cure" was not a cure at all. It turns out the cure was a virus that made mutants stronger and slaves to apocalypse. It didnt heal angel, it turned him into Archangel. So not age of apocalypse but the precursor to AoA
Again. No it doesn't at all. What does the virus story have to do with Age of Apocalypse?I meant they ruined the virus story and the virus story is a precursor to AoA.
^I stopped watching this series after Origins sucked so bad. I hate people who talk in theatres but me and my friends were that group of people. We didnt talk but we laughed so hard at all the ****** plotlines we annoyed the **** out of everyone in the vicinity. I stll can't hear the words "adamantium bullets" without laughing.
Only watched First Class because I thought it was an overdue reboot.
Didn't see Wolverine and I never will. Hell I didnt even see X2 or X3 in theaters. Saw X3 and part of X2 on TV. Didnt need to watch the whole thing to know it sucked.
It would take divine intervention to make me see this. Especially since they are so upfront about it being connected to the ****** original trilogy.
So how much is that tax return?
Did you just wikipedia me to AoA? I have the entire stack of comics still as well as Legion Quest and the somewhat of ty ins comics. Exiles 60-61, and the comic where Legion kills destiny or whatever, for example. I know what it isThat has nothing to do with AoA AT ALL.
What you're talking about just loosely ties in to Apocalpyse's 4 horseman story in one of the earlier times he tries to do what he usually does, elevate mutants to their rightful place on Earth by the means of survival of the fittest (i.e. making sure they're worthy with some hellish fight).
The cure in the movie was just lifted from another story in the comics which didn't have anything to do with Apocalypse. Almost every decade of X-comics somebody shows up with a "cure"
Again. No it doesn't at all. What does the virus story have to do with Age of Apocalypse?
Even if the movies did take from the Apocalypse story dealing with the "cure" it does not ruin the chances of an AoA movie AT ALL. You don't need some "cure precursor story" to tell the Age of Apocalypse.
You actually have the comic and yet do not know what you're talking about? Its not our fault the plot was so laughable. We didnt purposely do it. On top of that it was a couple times. Not throughout the whole movie.

Okay archangel and the apocalypse saga has nothing to do with each other. Not arguing with you elitist.
That means we might see an Old Man Logan film! lol.Jackman is going to be Ian McCellan's age and still be pumping out Wolverine movies.
Still, I'm happy to see another. Outside the final 20 minutes, this last one was really solid. They just stumbled a bit with SS.
bro that happened YEARS before Age of Apocalypse, what are you talking about?I aint talking out my ***. The "cure" was not a cure at all. No you're wrong. I'm talking about the AoA event it's why I keep referring to AoA and not anything else. Nobody and I mean NOBODY refers to AoA as everything that has to do with Apocalypse, that's just stupid. The fact that you do says a lot.Apocalypse using archangel has a lot to do with AoA. I dont mean just the 4 month event. Archangel almost rose to be the next Apocalypse. I'm talking about everything to do with Apocalypse being chosen to make sure the next step of evolution comes through and making mutants the superior species. AoA, the virus, Age of Stryfe, the clone of Apocalypse Fantomex made, Cable's entire existence, Sinister's entire existence, etc. All of that is part of the AoA continuity. Don't tell yourself otherwise.
The movies have completely butchered anything Weapon X for me so no on Maverick. I'd love to see Omega Red though.
Psylocke cuz of Uncanny X-Force or some earlier story where they both had somebody in mind they wanted to kill in the comics (to me he looked like a taller Japanese Wolverine in a suit. All I recall from that is Wolverine would torture him every year by cutting off a piece of his body cuz he killed one of his lovers or something and Psylocke wanted to kill him for some personal reason. Think he brainwashed, made her kill for him, and raped her).
I got u bae@alexweprin: Disney, Netflix strike deal for four live-action series and a miniseries based on Marvel characters. Sounds like a big, expensive deal.
Marvel And Netflix Announce 'Daredevil,' 'Luke Cage,' and Three More TV Series
Alex Zalben
November 7, 2013
In a move that pretty much changed the TV landscape in one fell swoop, Marvel and Netflix announced plans for a TV/on-demand version of "The Avengers" Thursday (November 7): four live action series based on their superhero properties will play on Netflix, all culminating in a team-up mini-series titled "The Defenders."From the press release:Led by a series focused on "Daredevil," followed by "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage," the epic will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel's "The Defenders" mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters. The biggest, most recognizable series is "Daredevil," which previously was made into a much-maligned movie starring Ben Affleck. After the rights to the property lapsed at FOX, and returned to Marvel Studios, fans have been wondering where the blind lawyer by day, New York vigilante by night would show up next. And now they know the answer. The other series are probably less well known, at least to fans outside the comic-book arena:'Jessica Jones'
This was previously announced in development by Marvel TV as "AKA Jessica Jones," based on the comic book by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. The comic series was named "Alias," which was also the name of a TV show starring Jennifer Garner (interestingly, also a star of the "Daredevil" movie), hence the name change to "AKA Jessica Jones." Now it's just simply the character's name. Jones is a former superhero and member of the Avengers who hit on hard times and now works as a detective in New York.'Luke Cage'
One of the most eagerly requested Marvel properties by fans, Luke Cage is a street-smart hero with unbreakable skin. He tied in heavily in the "Alias" comic-book series, later marrying and having a child with Jessica Jones. He also frequently partnered with...'Iron Fist'
A mystically powered Kung Fu expert and playboy billionaire named Danny Rand, Iron Fist has had a number of iterations through the years — though his most popular was working with Luke Cage as "Heroes for Hire," a team that sold their heroic expertise for money.'The Defenders'
This is the street equivalent of "The Avengers." Traditionally in the comics, The Defenders have been called the "non-team," with their membership ranging from Ghost Rider, Hulk, and Dr. Strange (all potential movie projects), to some of the characters you see above.Naturally, there are numerous questions that arise from the announcement, not least of which is whether these shows will tie into the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the movies and ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.LD." Plus, given the ever-expanding number of shows, how much give and take will there be — or could there possibly be — from the casts?News, as they say, will continue to break on this.
Beat me to it. As low as the budget is on Agents of SHIELD, I just have a feeling that these shows will get shafted in that department.
Not a high budget, but one that doesn't feel cheap. That's the vibe that I get from SHIELD. I don't know what the budget is for the Mortal Kombat web series, but they work with what they have and it looks great.Thing is tho with the characters they chose does the budget have to be as high? I mean Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones don't need that big of a budget out the gate. I can't wait for that Defenders miniseries tho.

Unrelated: I recently purchased Howard The Duck and watched last night after not seeing it since I was a kid. I was surprised at how well done it was and think it would be dope if they brought him back out.
