Yukio is the Japenese ninja/assassin/samurai/thief that Wolverine and Storm have banged who takes cares of Wolverine's adopted daughter Amiko in Japan.

Yuriko is Lady Deathstrike that's the merc and assassin.

I almost got confused myself watching the movie so I basically refer to Deathstrike by that name only.

Rogue represents a bigger problem with female super heroes. There aren't any good ones.

Storm was represented properly, but they took away Rogue and her power to fly and super strength all that. I know they wanted to represent an origin story, but it totally made her look weak.

I know a female super hero might not be able to carry an entire movie, but I know Marvel can do more.

Saw Ms. Dash begging for the Wasp role. I know she is older, but that woman is my all-time fav.

Eh, I disagree but hell you can kinda say that for minority superheroes in general, there really aren't any good black or Hispanic ones, etc. that are well known. All the movies show is that these female superheroes weren't written to showcase why they're good.

I don't think Storm had a good showing. They showed her powers properly but not her character.

Rogue's super strength and flight were stolen from Ms. Marvel before she did that she was still a huge threat. The whole thing is they didn't introduce Rogue as a wayward youth manipulated by her adopted mother Mystique and joined the Brotherhood of Evil mutants. They focused way more on her being scared of her powers and wanting to have skin contact with boys she likes, not presented like a hero in any sense. Then again there's argument that all the personalities she's absorbed have imprinted on her own personality and made her more heroic because of it (she first fought the Avengers and absorbed their powers).

The whole thing with female superheroes to me is you probably shouldn't go too over the top. There's not enough a street level female superheroes with a reasonable super power to make cool. If there was some chick that was like a cross between Batman and Spider-Man just from an approach as a character and personality before you get in to details it'd be much easier to show her being a superhero in a city saving ppl. Thing is we have chicks like WW, Storm who are kinda larger than life near deity level which is fine but clearly Hollywood doesn't know how to show that in a solo movie. Then you got other females that just aren't popular enough to carry a movie which is another big problem.

I'll assume we'll probably see more success with a Tomb Raider reboot than any female comic superhero for now.

I've mentioned it a few times after hearing/reading this is what they planned but now it's nice to see a report on it:

Report: Fox Have A Fantastic Four Vs. The X-Men Movie In The Works

Sometimes, investors are the first to know, and certain types of information – long term franchising plans, for example – seem particularly suitable to the job of buoying up shareholders.

Maybe, then, there’s a logical flow of information that will have led to a recent report on investing punditry website, The Motley Fool (via Omelete).

According to their story, Fox are planning a movie based on the Fantastic Four vs. The X-Men comics of 1987. It would be the studio’s crossover for their two chief strands of Marvel superheroes.

Of course, this would come after the upcoming Fantastic Four picture and, presumably, after 2016′s X-Men: Apocalypse.

If The Fool have their facts right,

the movie will see the characters against each other because of secrets regarding the Fantastic Four’s origin.

So, has word wriggled down the grapevine to investors and, ultimately, investment writers? Or is this speculation – pun intended? I personally find it rather unlikely that any film would follow this particular comics plot line too closely.

In any case, the only thing that could stop an X-Men and Fantastic Four crossover would be contract negotiations with the X-players. There’s no way Fox wouldn’t want to take a punt on this.

:smokin

I vaguely remember this story that the movie might be based on so not sure how closely they'll stick to it but it is nice to see after the in universe X-Men reboot that this crossover could go down in a big way.

From Rocks live tweet:

We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assert. #RockTalk @ActionTilson

Maybe Shazam or Black Adam is back on?

Or maybe he is John Stewart? Or Cyborg?

Others are guessing Lobo.

. Doing too much will make things go south fast. I want to see a Punisher and DD movie done right. I loved their fights. But that's wishful thinking at this point.

Has Punisher and Blade ever teamed up in the comics? Would like to see them murk a few hundred bad guys in a movie together.

They got the rights back a while ago; Ghost Rider earlier this year.

The link says movie though so for a min I thought it was new news for those 3 which would be surprising since The Punisher's name is there.

I can't think of anything off the top of my mind. Probably though.

I just want to see Victor Von Doom star in a movie where he destroys other top villains. Victor got a good heart and he would die for his country.

Peter Georgiou @Peterg_TMT

Rumor: I didn't hear this directly, but it's floating around behind the scenes in the industry: @TheRock is up for Jon Stewart. Shrugs.

Am I the only one who really do not care for a better character development for Hawkeye? Doesn't help that Renner just looks boring as f too.

He and Scarlett could go back to Budapest and get blown up to never return for all I care.

I really wished they had introduced them like they did in the ultimates...ppl would surely love them and shield operatives much more

They just casted the wrong actor for Hawkeye...Reynolds should have had that role, but I guess he's already tied up to one too many failed comic book characters

Ryan Reynolds is terrible too. :lol

Every comic book movie he's been in has been bad. Plus I doubt they would of put him in there with Scarlet. He needs to just relax and retire with his millions.

reynolds sucks. Keep him out of all superhero / comic movies. So tired of him playing a smartass in all of them with unfunny one-liners.
