News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

^You forgot Baron is also a minor role. The actor playing Baron actually signed on for a multi movie deal so we are not

Hawkeye's role wasnt minor in the first movie but I bet he will have a lot of shared screen time with Black Widow. If Hawkeye Avengers 1 role was minor to you then Falcons will also be minor by that same standard and have a lot of on screen time with Cap anyway.

Hulk and Iron Man will likely get a lot of onscreen time together (science bros)

I think Hawkeye will have a bigger role in this film for some reason. I'm hoping Thor has a bigger role in the film. Didn't like how simply got stabbed by Loki and summoned lighting on top of the Empire State Building.

So if Bettany is The Vision, looks like Coulson is just Coulson and we know he wasn't brought back to be The Vision. lol.

I don't think he will have a bigger role. Between being manipulated by Loki, stealing the raw materials from the vault, assaulting the Helicarrier, and fighting Black Widow, his on screen time was on par with the rest of them. I didnt keep a tally but his on screen time was probably more than Black Widow's

I disagree that Hawkeye had a minor role in Avengers, dude was practically Lokis right hand mana nd single handedly took down the helicarrier. He'll have a decent or the same amount of screen time if not more in the next one.

I don't see Nick Fury having a minor role either especially if Ultron is a SHIELD creation, unless they kill him of in Winter Soldier but even then apparently in this world (just like the comics) no one will stay dead. Hell I actually forgot that Coulson might return to A2 as well.

As for villains, I don't mind that Baron is there for 10-15 minutes but in a 2 hour film, that is long screen time. But the focus is on Ultron so at the end it doesn't matter but that is a lot on their table.

At the end of the day, minor role or not, it's still another hero to fit in and it doesn't matter if they take up 4-5 minutes of screen time, which I doubt (outside of War Machine). Superman/Batman only has 3 confirmed and 2-3 more rumored to have a cameo and it is already being torn apart. :lol

Phase 3 they may be on some Avengers Disassembled **** leading in to A3 anyway. I expect solo movies from those other guys and they don't have to be in Avengers.

Solo movie or not, they will still likely be all in for Avengers 3 especially if it all leads to Thanos. I mean it makes sense to take out a big villain as Thanos but it's hard to pull that off with so many characters and sharing all those screen time. Whedon did a great job in Avengers pulling these guys together but there is a point where too much is simply too much. Also seems like a waste to have solo films for Strange and BP and not be in Avengers 3, same with GotG since they are pretty much a set-up for Thanos. We know for sure Iron Man is there. The only two dispensable characters are Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver since they'll likely won't have a solo film at all and they can come be forgotten for a few years and be back for Avengers 4 to deal with Scarlet Witches power or something.

GOTG aint gonna be in Avengers 2 at all. At most a post credit scene. Adding some space **** to an Ultron movie is doing too much.

That's why I said "could still be", though not likely but still a possibility.

Man! I really did wish Iron Mans end credit scene was him in his space suit and encountering the GotG team or even just Starlord, I would have left the theater with a alittle smile on my face despite the film than a confusion on why I waited an extra few minutes on a already crappy film to be yet disappointed again with Stark talking to Banner?

That would have put more interest/hype in the upcoming GotG film too.

I'm excited for Captain Marvel. I didnt think she would make it in this film. I hope Fox passes on Kate Mara (fell in love with her and her potential when I saw House of Cards) and Marvel chooses her for the role. Mara would be my ideal choice for Jean Grey if it wasnt owned by Fox. But if they don't get her they should snatch amber heard. I have wanted to see her in superhero role since this pic

Katee Sackhoff also said she wants to do it and I would be fine with that.

for some reason I don't want to see the Rock playing a superhero.. he's almost too big of a "movie star" for it. Like it's always gonna be The Rock on screen and not John Stewart or whoever he ends up playing.

idk though i'm pretty sure this feeling isn't shared

I hope they cast someone hot as eff for Miss Marvel. The chicks who dress up as her for conventions make me want to hulk smash.

they probably wont.

i can see them having Pepper Potts turn into Ms Marvel somehow. some residual extremis nonsense.

who would u prefer?

Eww. No one wants to see gwyneth paltrow in that costume. Not sure who I would want in the role. Doesn't have to be a well known name. A good looking blonde like Brittany Snow or Yvonne Strahovski. That blonde in Spartacus (Gannicus' girl) might be good too.

Though Latino Review broke the news, I legit don't see Ms. Marvel in this film. Not as a major character at least. Another female avenger? That would be a slap in the face to the under developed black widow played by Scarlett Johansson. Add to that Olsen's Scarlett Witch and I don't see how Ms. marvel fits in here. They'd be introducing more characters in 1 film then damn near all of phase 1.

Maybe a Carol Danvers cameo but I don't see it farther than that

Scsrlett witch black widow and hawkeye can go **** themselves. A waste of screen time for all of them.

Only plus is widow in that tight suit but you can see her in less in other movies

I don't know, that's like saying Depp is too big to be Dr. Strange.

The Rock also already have that prototypical superhero build, no need to pump him with steroids for weeks to get him ready, he is already there. Dude ain't short either like RDJ or Tom Cruise so no need for camera tricks of shoe lifts to make them look taller.

Description Of Paul Bettany’s VISION Costume For AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

It has a helmet akin to the Iron Man armor, but it’s designed more like a face than a smooth Stark helmet. The iconic yellow and green are present in the design, but it’s more metallic shades than bright ‘comic book colors.’ They said it reminds them somewhat of the T-100 from Terminator 2 but it’s not as shiny. The yellow metal “liquid” bits seem to light up. This may or may not happen since there are two designs for that section. One lights up the other doesn’t. That’s the only difference. The cape is present, but they say it appears to only “pop out” when in flight mode. The cap sports some similar shades of yellow as the body. The “neck pieces” are the same yellow but they seem to shift positions from “standing” (for lack of a better word) to “flight mode.”

Ha. I remember seeing that in a commercial. I was thinking that's such a random person to quote.

How is michael B one of the best actors out there?

because Bill Simmons says so.

"Greatest war movie since Black Hawk Down"

still can't believe they quoted him in Lone Survivor commercials

To be fair, I go with what he says movie wise alot of the time.
nahhhh it was far worse than that
Ahhh thats what it was

I bet she won't be underdeveloped after Cap 2. She has been begging for a Black Widow solo movie but Disney aint hearing that because 1. They doubt a female lead superhero movie will sell. 2. Female action figures and other merchandise do not sell well historically. Even after the avengers there were tons of toys for hulk, iron man, and thor but next to none from Black Widow.

So I think they just gave her a big role in this movie to make it up to her.
