The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) is currently in talks with Millennium Films to helm their upcoming live-action Red Sonja movie.

He recently helmed the upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, but was ultimately fired from that film following a repeated series of workplace offenses and erratic behavior. He was also later sued by Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, who accused the director of raping him when he was 17-years-old in 2003. This was the latest in a number of accusations the director has faced over the past several years.
