Yo everybody should check out that Dying Light gameplay video. I was amazed. **** had me legit shook while watching it :lol

I don't think a lot of you guys understand the awesome tech that's in Kinect 2.
Tech is useless w/o a game to show it off.
ryse was supposed to be a kinect game, now it's 3rd person.

What do you guys think that that says about the kinect?
I would like to see a more subtle use of kinect. Ryse moving to 3rd person is an improvement IMO and it says more about the developers than Kinect

Nothing, other than it is not suited as the main controller for AAA action games

Plus Ryse supposedly still uses Kinect a lot, they just haven't showed it.

MS was start to move Black Tusk's game and Ryse to controller based next generation games, because it looks like that move will pay off for them. Especially with Black Tusk's game

It says an adult aimed game where you flail your arms around like your in 300 is a bad idea and somebody realized that and moved it to a controller based game before it was too late.

Ms's black tusk game and Sony's the order had game trailers at E3 were so vague that I have no idea what kind of game they are.

Microsoft has turned to Electronic Arts in a bid to spark interest in Xbox One, MCV has been told.

At Gamescom tomorrow, an Xbox One/FIFA 14 tie-up will be announced in a bid to win over European gamers, according to two senior games industry sources. The bundle will still retail for £429.99, the same price as the Xbox One base unit.

The move is designed to make Xbox One appear better value for money as it currently retails for £80 more than PS4. FIFA 14 has an RRP of £54.99.

We checked with EA and Microsoft, who both said: 'no comment'. But we should know all the details tomorrow morning.

Looks like it's only for Europe for now but Wow. That must have cost a lot.

On the other hand CVG says it's an exclusive so I'm not sure.

Microsoft has signed a landmark deal to bundle a "major third-party title" free with every Xbox One launch system across Europe, CVG understands.

Each new Xbox One console sold in Europe (and perhaps the US) will come free with the title that alone will retail at £40 or higher, in an attempt to kick away at the £80 premium Xbox One has over Sony's PS4.

A source with knowledge of the deal, who wished to remain anonymous, said the developments were part of Microsoft's goal of adding value to its system without lowering its £429 release day price.

The specific game set to be bundled with Xbox One launch systems was not named, although it's understood to be a "major" Christmas release.
Striking a deal of this magnitude is thought to have cost Microsoft further millions in budget as it prepares to launch its next-generation Xbox around the world.

This major game, the source said, is the "unique Xbox One exclusive" that Microsoft executive Phil Spencer said was being saved for a Gamescom announcement.

I think EA and Microsoft have some deal so it must have been part of it. They also get exclusive ultimate team content so this is huge but how many European countries are on the list of 13? :lol

Yea but exclusive Ultimate Team Content would be a lot cheaper than this. Fifa 13 sold 3 million in the UK alone last year and more around Europe.
For every Xbone sold in europe MS would have to pay at least £40. If they sell lets say at launch, 500K. That's £20mill straight, maybe more since EA games are all showing up as £55 instead of £40.

Obviously the deal would have been done beforehand but EA will still be getting a big check if it's true.

You guys in the US need to start a twitter campaign or something :lol
Tell them to bundle Madden for free.

Gamestop is doing the same offer, not bad for a game like fifa or madden. Any other game with a campaign your better off getting the full experience on the new console.
