I kinda asked in that PS4 thread, how does Xbox lock these multi-platform exclusives?
Example, the Xbox is now the official Console of the NFL.

Go to the companies with a blanket check and ask "how much?"
Plus to become the "official ..... of the NFL" is not hard. NFL probably got a official soda, sports drink, credit card, car, snack.
All it just takes a company willing to spend millions.
Microsoft reveals partnership with Ubisoft
The announcement was made during Microsoft's Gamescom press briefing, but specifics on the nature of the content were not given.
The online third-person shooter is currently in development for Xbox One and PS4, although Ubisoft is aware there's strong consumer demand for a PC release.
In a recent Q&A session with fans of the game, community developer Antoine Emond clarified The Division's always-online co-op and PvP mechanics.
"The Division is an online, open world RPG experience where exploration, objectives and player progression are all essential," he said.
"You can team up with a group of friends in co-op and jump in and jump out at any time. In certain areas, you can also seamlessly engage in PvP and experience suspenseful scenarios where danger can come from anywhere and anyone."
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has said that The Division release date will fall "closer to the end of 2014 than the start", possibly lining up the well-received title as a major Christmas release.

Except in some EU countries like mine the Xbox One isn't released until "somewhere in 2014".So Europeans get a free copy of FIFA, I see how it is. Would of copped the Xbox w/o hesitation if that was the case for the US.
Wait so Killer Instinct is only launching with 6 characters? And following that up with only 2 more? For a total of 8? What the hell?
Heres a demo using a generic FPS game, bad lag for the shield but the visor view and missle lock seemed pretty quick, if they can make the lean motion not so pronounced it could really be helpful.Any videos of the new Kinect being used to play non gimmicky (Kinect sports, fit, etc) games. I want to see what they're doing with it. I've Seen a few things with general youtube searches but I'm sure you guys can find better.
I don't care about the pay scheme they're releasing the characters under, I care about the amount of characters playable. 6 characters isn't a fighting game. It's a scuffle at best lolThats how free to play games are. They release new characters periodically and you have to pay for them individually.Wait so Killer Instinct is only launching with 6 characters? And following that up with only 2 more? For fighting games its a pretty dope concept seeing how 9 times out of 10 you only use a handful of characters anyway. Pay only for the characters you want to use.
