Next Gen Xbox Reveal Confirmed for May 21

I kinda asked in that PS4 thread, how does Xbox lock these multi-platform exclusives?

Example, the Xbox is now the official Console of the NFL.

Go to the companies with a blanket check and ask "how much?"

Plus to become the "official ..... of the NFL" is not hard. NFL probably got a official soda, sports drink, credit card, car, snack.

All it just takes a company willing to spend millions.

Now that you mention it makes a lot of sense. Searched official NFL sponsors and saw this, "Pepsi Co. has dumped $182.7 million into Super Bowl adverts which kept rival Coca-Cola out of the game." and we all know coke is better.

Any videos of the new Kinect being used to play non gimmicky (Kinect sports, fit, etc) games. I want to see what they're doing with it. I've Seen a few things with general youtube searches but I'm sure you guys can find better.

No release date for the Xbox one announced. Pretty much November though

Players will be able to share videos of the games they play, making them viral

Tools, resources fully available to indie developers, full suit. Now restrictions. No fees either.

Second thing, football has a new home on Xbox. Home stadium for FIFA. Getting some exclusive content it seems

Fable legends, Xbox one exclusive

Mojangs Cobalt coming to XB1 and 360

One thing not revealed last week; Xbox one version uses cloud for hosting dedicated servers FOR COD Ghost

New multiplayer mode called blitz, objective based. Need to attack and defend two key points

Ghost has a weird teleportation mechanism :rolleyes

To celebrate the launch of Xbox one, exclusive cod ghost bundle including special content and mp maps first on Xbox.

Peggle 2 & PvZ: Garden Warfare first on Xbox One

Ultimate team legends only on XBOX FIFA14 coming to 360 in September, and Xbox one later.

Dead Rising 3 still has frame rate issues, but it looks pretty good. So many zombies. Thousands of em on screen

Football is the worlds sport. All per order for Xbox one will include FIFA 14 free. CBOAT was correct

The Division: Xbox One to get exclusive content 'before and after' release

Microsoft reveals partnership with Ubisoft

The announcement was made during Microsoft's Gamescom press briefing, but specifics on the nature of the content were not given.

The online third-person shooter is currently in development for Xbox One and PS4, although Ubisoft is aware there's strong consumer demand for a PC release.

In a recent Q&A session with fans of the game, community developer Antoine Emond clarified The Division's always-online co-op and PvP mechanics.

"The Division is an online, open world RPG experience where exploration, objectives and player progression are all essential," he said.

"You can team up with a group of friends in co-op and jump in and jump out at any time. In certain areas, you can also seamlessly engage in PvP and experience suspenseful scenarios where danger can come from anywhere and anyone."

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has said that The Division release date will fall "closer to the end of 2014 than the start", possibly lining up the well-received title as a major Christmas release.

Typical Microsoft. When in doubt drop a ton of $$$ on 3rd party devs for shooters because their 1st party studio titles suck, have no variety in game genres and aren't system sellers :lol

So Europeans get a free copy of FIFA, I see how it is. Would of copped the Xbox w/o hesitation if that was the case for the US.

Except in some EU countries like mine the Xbox One isn't released until "somewhere in 2014".

MS better give me like 5 free games for pulling that move.

Wait so Killer Instinct is only launching with 6 characters? And following that up with only 2 more? For a total of 8? What the hell?

Thats how free to play games are. They release new characters periodically and you have to pay for them individually.

For fighting games its a pretty dope concept seeing how 9 times out of 10 you only use a handful of characters anyway. Pay only for the characters you want to use.

Heres a demo using  a generic FPS game, bad lag for the shield but the visor view and missle lock seemed pretty quick, if they can make the lean motion not so pronounced it could really be helpful.

I don't care about the pay scheme they're releasing the characters under, I care about the amount of characters playable. 6 characters isn't a fighting game. It's a scuffle at best lol

Everyone gonna be using the same damn characters. Who wants to play Chief Thunder mirror matches all day? Bare minimum they should have 10 characters ready and playable from jump, even if you pay for the characters you want to play with.
