at least they're forcing a player onto us that's actually good.

He's one of the guys this year that ESPN is trying to push on everybodyAny particular reason RG3 has an hour long special of him rehabbing? Is that just ESPN being ESPN?

I really like the guy too, it's like they're trying to create a backlash. We really don't need a new LeBron of football ( from a media perspective)

they aren't trying to create backlash
he's a media darling. black quarterback that breaks most of the usual stereotypes with his play and personality.
believe what you want, but a lot of older white NFL fans see a lot of players as "thugs" and what not. for reference, see the allen iverson dress code rules in the NBA. they don't think that about rg3 because he comes off as intelligent and well spoken. that's why ESPN is throwing him in your face as much as they can.
Yeah I mean I agree with this completely, they just don't know when enough is enough. They may not do it on purpose, but when there is an inevitable backlash they're not against hopping on that side of it as well.agree 651. i didn't mean to just say that was the only reason, just one of them. reading back on my post, i didn't make that clear.
i just wish ESPN knew when enough was enough, but they overkill everything.
Paging GUNNA....I remember when he was supposed to be one of the more "safe" picks that year
Who do you guys have winning the first game? Even though the Broncos won't have Von and maybe Champ, I still think they will pull it out at home.
vickerson, wolfe, woodyard, phillips, and irving will step up. i just don't want them to rush champ back. its a long season. No pass rush?
It's gonna be a long day for champ.
Torrey gonna have a good day if Flacco gets time to throw that deep ballNo pass rush?
It's gonna be a long day for champ.

Bears have had some discussions about trading WR Earl Bennett. Trades not easy to make this time of year, though.
Pete Carroll: We have a big decision to make with Chris Clemons

Cliff Avril is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury for the Seahawks, which cuts into their enviable depth at the position a little bit with the start of the season around the corner.
Should Avril miss time in the regular season, the Seahawks might be able to turn to Chris Clemons as a replacement. Coach Pete Carroll was asked Wednesday if the reason why Clemons wasn’t placed on the reserve PUP list along with wide receiver Percy Harvin earlier this week was because he’s close enough to playing that there’s no reason to wipe out the first six weeks of the season and the coach indicated that it was.
“Clemons has been working out great. We watched him again today. He’s made fantastic progress,” Carroll said, via Curtis Crabtree of PFT. “You would not have been able to tell from his workout today that he had any issue, so that’s a really good sign. He hasn’t worked against anybody, hasn’t practiced or any of that kind of stuff but it’s a great sign. We have a big decision to make there. We’ll figure that one out.”
Clemons tore his ACL in the Seahawks’ playoff victory over the ********, but Carroll has said more than once this summer that a Week One return wasn’t out of the question for the player who has tallied exactly 11 sacks in each of the last three years. If he can go in Week One, the Seahawks will have options to use against Cam Newton whether Avril can play or not. Even if he doesn’t, it sounds like Clemons has a good shot to be starting the year on the 53-man roster than the PUP list.
