Good move by the Browns, by the way. They know who they're after in the draft, and between this move and starting Brian Hoyer it looks as if they won't be denied

. And they never 'passed' on RGIII for Weeden...they simply didn't have enough to overtake the Skins.
How many elite QBs are there in this draft, really?  Is it like RG3- Luck level?

Because otherwise, if Jax goes #1 and says "we're taking Bridgewater and won't be denied", Cleveland is gonna be really in a bad place.

Bridge, Mariota, Hundley, Bortles, Gardener, Boyd, Morris, McCarron, Manziel, Murray, Metteberger (sp) Fales.

All in the mix.

Not Luck/RGIII, but ton of options to choose from potentially.

Point is, they'll have options.

If they get #2 and can grab Bridge, great.

If they get #5 and he's gone, maybe you grab Lee/D'Anthony round 1 and take Morris, Boyd, McCarron type in round 2.
Boyd, D'Anthony, Lee, Gordon, Benji, Cameron, Joe Thomas + 4 picks the next two rounds and that front seven/Joe Haden? I'd give that a look.

Or snag Mariota, Brandon Coleman, CB in rd 2, Gordon, Benji, Cameron, Thomas + 4 picks the next two rounds, front seven/Haden, and draft a RB in a potentially loaded 2015 RB class.

I think Bridgewater goes #1.  Jags, Raiders, or Browns?  All need a QB desperately, no matter how good Clowney is.

Also I don't think the Browns can afford to continue putting #1 picks into their defense.  They already have an excellent defense, but their offense is now woeful.

Everyone agree Joe Thomas is the best active LT in the game?

Trent Williams is having an amazing season so far. Playing with an otherwise garbage line. Dude is money.

Not even being a homer and hes coming off 2 Achilles tears, but Jason Peters is in the conversation for sure as one of the top LTs dude is freakishly athletic and our line went to **** when he got hurt.

I'll have to read all this when I get home.

Respect you and your opinions on this site.  I just think you are dead wrong on this one.

I also think the Celtics/Notre Dame Irish comparison is so ridiculous.  Like, hmm...  Boston and Notre Dame- what do those two places have in common?  Lots of Irish Catholic people in positions of power!  Maybe that's why they chose those names.  Maybe that's why they don't find them offensive.  No comparison whatsoever.

Nah, it's cool. I'll readily admit that I've always shrugged this off because I never knew (until recently) where the term skins of red came from. I just figured it was another name for an Indian. Might be ignorant on my part, but my grandfather was a 'skins fan and growing up I never heard about or know if there were rumblings about any consternation with the name, so now It feels strange that there's all this upheaval with it's main movers being those that are making it a political ore media-driven agenda.

I'll need to do more research on the topic.

Lane Johnson will slowly become one of the best RT's in the league.

He graded very well in week 1 and kinda disappointed last week, but I agree with you.

Sheldon Richardson is good, man. I wanted Minnesota to get him. Shariff better improve. Star looks good too.

ROY for me so far is 1. Mathieu and 2. Hopkins...For now.

Our line is :smokin can't sleep on Kelce either...if we even had a moderately serviceable defense smh we'd be a serious problem but those dudes are straight trash. Gonna have to out score most teams. Still holding on to my 10win prediction :lol

You can discredit RR's article all you want, but the fact remains taht there ARE Native Americans who have no issue w/ the name. This has become a hot-button topic within the past year or two. As this world gets more and more PC, you'll always have people looking for change. I wholehearted believe that there is a media push/agenda behind a lot of the discussions. I've stated my opinion on this topic numerous times and I can completely respect differing POVs. Despite all of that, this is something that I'm not going to move my stick in the sand over.
