sidenote: i've always wondered why teams on the edge between being a playoff team and a championship contender aren't more willing to trade draft picks for proven commodities. the draft is a huge crapshoot anyways

i think they would if they didn't sign clady to an extension with guarantee money. if they had left him franchised they might of gone after thomas.
