And Wilson walked into a team with a top notch RB (skittles), 2 decent WRs nothing special but can get the job done, a real good oline and a defense with a shutdown secondary.

Luck had Wayne, Mathis, Bethea, and a useless Freeney. Then he had a bunch of rookies and/or 2-3 year guys that no one knew how it was going to play out.
 
That's why I said Wilson walked into a potentially good situation. That Hawks team went 7-9, and was basically a bubbling defense, Marshawn Lynch, and A WR core that showed flashes of potential but not all there.. That's the team Matt Flynn was supposed to takeover the following year. That's why their situations weren't that different when they came in, but people like to act like Luck was coming into a downtrodden landfill when he really wasn't.

If someone told me a team with an offense that consists of Reggie Wayne, Donnie Avery, TY Hilton, Vick Ballard, Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen was going to win 11 games, I would have laughed in their face.

no luck is better because he has been asked and forced to do more with less, i would love to see andrew luck on the seahawks right now or even last year, they would be the defending sb champs this year...

no luck is better because he has been asked and forced to do more with less, i would love to see andrew luck on the seahawks right now or even last year, they would be the defending sb champs this year...

Indianapolis is the number 2 seed in the playoffs if they started right now. So now your saying Luck has a really good team around him?

luck has a decent team around him, a garbage *** offensive cordinator, and a head coach who doesnt prepare his team every week, but that just shows how good he really is especially with all the injuries that has happened around him, if he had all those injured players playing right now then yes we would be a really good team. if russ was the colts qb i gaurantee they wouldnt be the 2 seed right now, probably chasing the last wild card spot at best...

By leading the league in ints?

The argument for luck being this superior guy seems to be 100% based on hypotheticals. That's all I'm saying.

You can't say: "look at the play on the field, Luck is way better than these guys".

You can say oh, if his team were better he wouldn't be one of the lead leaders in picks last year, he'd have as many touchdowns or wins as Russell, he's taller so he should be better, etc. etc.

You can't say he's the most accurate , because he isn't. You can't say he's the most efficient or careful with the football , because he isn't. You can't say he makes the most big plays or throws downfield , because he doesn't. You can't say he's the best making plays out of the pocket, because he isn't. You can't say he's the best at getting wins, because he hasn't been. Anything you could measure with objective measurements he stands with or behind the rest of the pack.

Everyone seems to have a "feeling" that somehow Andrew Luck is significantly better than everyone else. I'm just saying maybe you should be honest with yourself and ask if that "feeling" comes from the fact that he has been the most hyped from day 1.

And yo, Cam, Kaepernick, or RG3 would give their left arms to have Reggie Wayne and TY Hilton as receivers in their first game .

best way i can put it is basically andrew luck puts the team on his ******g back week in and week out... yall have beast mode behind russ, andrew has trent and donald brown bro.... honestly i dont even know why the colts even have play action plays in their playbook has no affect on the defense...

Tiger Woods was banging porn stars off the course and is the closest thing to Happy Gilmore on the course. Nike could give a **** and he moved on to another girl that has put him in an even better financial situation. All the while, everyone still loves him, including me. I still dont follow. Do you expect everyone to keep their lips sealed about what the greatest golfer there is has done in the past and continues to do, like every time he throws his golf club, in a game that is so strict with proper etiquette and tradition that they dont even let women on certain courses? It also helps that Jordan hates black people though, which basically negates all of that

This thread... Every single time Tom Brady is caught cussing at someone everyone is up in arms yelling "he gets away with it because he's white" and then compares him to clowns like Dez Bryant who hasnt won squat and hits his mother.
It doesnt get much more simple. He gets away with it because hes Tom ******g Brady. Has nothing to do with skin color, has everything to do with winning. When you win alot, you can say whatever you want. Tom Brady wins alot, therefor he can say whatever he wants. Move on.

I mean I get the argument and I think it's fair in some ways. I just want to point out that it's based on entirely ifs and hypotheticals when the numbers say very different.

Also a lot of those comeback wins last year were from holes Luck put you guys in with turnovers. At least a few that I saw.

I think people forget how young Stafford is, I don't understand why he's never mentioned in these young QB debates.

I usually tend to think of him as part of an earlier generation of quarterbacks—the Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco group.  He is having a good season though.

honestly you guys can say whatever you want, i really dont care. im here to talk about football and obviously the colts, but i keep getting baited in when i see comments about how russ wilson is better then luck, same as last year when everyone was saying rg3 was better then luck. its not everyone its mostly the seahawks and texans fans. it is what it is and i enjoying having the conversations about it but people seem to get annoyed when i put in my 2 sense, yeah i take shots at certain times but its out of fun...im still fairly new to this site and i know you guys have been here a while and most likely dont like the newcomers but im here and i aint going anywhere...
