We just talked about punishing a guy for playing with a good team but then turn around and blame Stafford for having the best WR in the game and utilizing him

id rather have a Loss at this point in the season and dudes on the team learn to stay composed and not make stupid mistakes (Talib and Mankins personal foul penalties) than have it rear its ugly head in a playoff game

you'll almost never see me complain about a single call , because IMO they dont really make or break games . that PI call is way less significant than RIdleys red zone fumble or those personal foul penalties

Like I said the Saints are the main focus now anyway...get the division locked up.

I just read that their reviewing Ahmad brooks hit on drew Brees. Unfreakingbelievable.

What a sissy league roger Goodell has turned the NFL into. I hate to say it but its becoming less and less benifical to be a defensive oriented team in the modern day NFL.

If your going to get penalized for playing defense then might as well make the 15 yard penalty worth it next time and hurt the guy since playing legit defense gets you penalized anyways.

If the Leonard Marshall hit on joe montana happened today, the weenie Goodell would probably ban leonard Marshall from the league.

Matt Stafford has played about 50 games or a little over 3 full seasons.

Matt Stafford is younger than Colin Kaepernick and 7 months older than Russell Wilson

If it was so easy to pile up stats why has no other quarterback that has played with Calvin put up similar stats?

Why have Calvin's numbers went from borderline pro-bowler to possibley greatest of all time when Stafford has been healthy?

The Lions were among the league leaders in pass attempts before Stafford was ever drafted and Calvin was on the team.

At 23 years old Matt Stafford lead a team to the playoffs, threw for 5000 yards and 41 touchdowns while having no running game and one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Matt Stafford has the second lowest sack rate in the league, why because he gets rid of the ball the faster than any quarterback in the league outside of Peyton Manning.

Outside of the elite 4 and maybe Luck I don't even think any other quarterbacks in the league are even capable of this.

I'll entertain Luck being better than Stafford and frankly Russell Wilson has become my favorite non-Lion to watch in the entire league but outside of those two and the elite 4 I ain't buying it and frankly I think he's the 5th best quarterback in the NFL right now.

I hate the argument you are about to make me make but the same things were said about Larry Fitzgerald until Kurt Warner retired.

No wide receiver even the great ones put numbers without good to great quarterbacking.

Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson can have games where their team wins comfortably and they throw for less than 175 yards.

They have done it this year already versus some really good teams.

If Stafford doesn't throw for 250 and 2 touchdowns the Lions damn near dont have a shot. Probably going to lose by double digits.

Stafford is a real good QB. Calvin makes him better but I think he's helped Calvin too. He's still developing but dude is nice.
