HAHAHA I believe manziel can be a more dynamic Russel Wilson. He definitely has more ability than Russel Wilson.

Don't see Manziel having the instant success like Wilson has, Manziel will be heading to a mediocre team at best. RW has one of the best rb's and one of the best defenses, and I think RW is a better decision maker. Find it funny as a ravens fan used to tell my boys RW going to be better than Flacco when he first entered the draft and they all said I was crazy.

If he gets drafted by the texans I believe it will parallel wilsons success.

I don't think Manziel has the football IQ or common sense that Russell has. It's a terrible comparison in my opinion. Only thing is the size. I think Russell is much better in every category.

If I was the Vikings, I wouldn't trade the 8th pick unless you want Teddy. There's other QBs that will be around in later rounds.

I think Wilson is a better decision maker but with that said its hard to doubt Manziel that kid is special. Manziel to Andre John would be a nice setup.

blake bortles baby.

measuring manziel against wilson has individuals is fine, but if you're expecting him to have the same instant success, you might want to reconsider. manziel isn't going anywhere with a great running game and elite defense.

Manziel is going to surprise a lot of people IMO. As long as he is willing to learn and has someone to throw to. Aside from OAK, anywhere he goes he will likely have at least one playmaker to throw to (CLE - Gordon, HOU - Johnson, Hopkins, JAX - Blackmon [assuming he can stay out of trouble]) I think if he has a successful combine he will go #1 overall. Pair him up with Johnson, Hopkins, Foster and/or Tate, this offense

Bortles must be a helluva player, I hadn't even heard of this guy until like a few weeks ago

i think blackmon is done man he cant stay out of trouble

i just see what manziel has done with mike evans, and then i think about what he can do with deandre hopkins and andre johnson. he's shown at A&M he's willing to give his receivers a chance to go get the ball (sometimes to a fault) but it could work out nicely.

Yeah man he has talent but he just does dumb *****. I think they will give him one more chance only because they haven't released him yet.

i trust manziel wont play recklessly like he did in college. The coaches will cultivate him so he doesn't end up being michael vick 2.0

... thats who he is though . its the reason hes good in college . Manziel cant sit in the pocket and dissect defenses

Russell Wilson also has one of the biggest hand sizes in the NFL, Same as Drew Brees (both are 10 1/4in.). Obviously this helps them enormously pass in the NFL. So unless Manziel has 10 inch hands or bigger it's going to be very tough for him

Do you not consider the Houston Texans to be a team with a great running game and elite defense?  Because I do.

To be hone I've only seen him play four times. I have it

Bortles
Manziel
Bridgewater

*dont see the hype with bridgewater
I don't see the hype behind Bridewater either. I live in Texas so I get to watch Johnny damn near every weekend if I want. the games that I've seen from him seems like he looks to pass first then run. I think it was against Auburn where his WRs were dropping catchable balls, then he began running. I think with some WRs and a good o-line, Manziel will be great at the next level. I really hope he goes to HOU, I feel sorry for anybody who goes to CLE or OAK and is expected to start day 1

I can't give a draft order prediction only because I haven't seen Bortles play at all, but it always comes down to the pro day and combine.

they also got bill o brien. All the texans need is an adequate qb and they will become a stout team.

Depends on a few variables. Our offensive line has gotten worse and I assume we're not going to continue a full zone blocking scheme. Need to see how we address that. Defensively, both corners regressed, we don't have any true safeties. Zero pass rush outside of watt. Hopefully Cushing comes back healthy, and we can hide our flaws schematically.

Texans have an elite defense?

I wouldn't say there defense is elite, they could use some help in the secondary. No telling how Cushing will play when he comes back.
