I agree with McNabb; my biggest issue with his era was Reid's refusal to get him legit wideouts then he gets TO for a year on a bargain and we all know how the Eagles screwed that up

Rodgers wouldn't of had the success he has in Green Bay with Oakland! 22 other teams passed on Rodgers

Randy Moss was playing for the Raiders the year ARod was drafted. Rodgers to Moss what could of been! I'm hoping this new regime can build a good core of players through the draft

Not trying to sound like a Homer but I think Connor Shaw could be a steal for someone in the draft looking to develop a young QB....

You can't say Rodgers would have been ready. Remember he had 2 years to sit and learn from Favre

He didn't learn **** from Favre :lol
It was well documented that Favre wanted nothing to do with Rodgers. His ego felt threatened, he didn't take him under his wings in any way. He barely even talked to the guy, let alone try and teach him anything :lol

He learned everything from Favre. Without Brett Favre's influence, Aaron Rodgers would have been another Tim Tebow.

It was as McCartney that helped him develop his arm strength and mechanics, Rodgers was supposed to start in 2007 but Farve came back again

You can't say he didn't learn from Favre. That's ridiculous. He sat and learned so much on the bench. Playbooks, practice and meetings. I'm not saying give Favre credit for AR but it was a big deal.

Nah I didn't mean he didn't learn anything from 4 seasons of sitting :lol
Obviously he was able to watch, practice, and learn a lot before he got his chance.

I just meant Favre didn't DIRECTLY help Rodgers, as in tutor him or take him under his wings. Everything Rodgers learned from Favre was strictly on his own trough observation. Favre didn't try to help Aaron in any way, he was only concerned with himself.

That's all I meant.
But there's no question those 4 years groomed Rodgers into a great starting QB. I just wouldn't give any of the direct credit to Favre because he couldn't of cared less. It was coaching, hard work, and observation.

Rodgers learnt how to run around and have fun like a kid out there from Brett Favre.
