Regarding London Fletcher, hes a Great player no doubt. His numbers are similar to Ray's but his impact is nowhere close. Football is Not a game of stats.
For example, this season a player most of you have never heard of ( Luke Kuechly) led the league in tackles. Does this mean hes on the same level as Patrick Willis, who had 45 less tackles this season? You can acquire more stats being on a bad defense that stays on the field than a great defense that stays off the field.
london is one of the hardest hitting linebackers to play in the last 20 years

Doesn't completely feel like it yet, but the playoffs start in about about 16 hours. Packers/Vikings in about 20. :hat

It's about to get craaazzzyyyy.

Saw Clay Matthews guaranteed AP wouldn't rush for 200 yards. :rollin
That's the equivalent of Paul Pierce guaranteeing LeBron won't drop 55 on them in a random game in a playoff series. CONGRATS.

That's if Lebron was averaging 40 ppg on the year and needed 55 points in order to win game 7.

To me London has had just as good of a career as Ray, he just hasn't had the supporting cast around him to be on an outstanding defense and to get the recognition. The numbers don't lie.

If Ray Lewis played for a team that didn't put the correct pieces around him and ended up not winning any awards, mvp's, pro bowls, and whatever, would you be saying the same thing about him? I doubt it.
The only thing Fletcher has on Lewis is tackles. It's easier to rack up tackles on a bad team.

If you think London Fletcher's career is "just as good" as Ray Lewis's, you are clueless. I'm not even going to bother enumerating the differences between their careers.

playoff football is here

I know this doesnt have impact on the Bengals and Texans game, but the body languages of both coaches from this past wednesday's press conferences is totally opposite. Kubiak sounds completely shook, while Lewis seems pretty relaxed and confident. Eager to see how this shakes out.

I do think the Texans get it corrected and win today.

Marvin Lewis is always pretty relaxed and calm. People in Cincy actually complain about his demeanor. Andy Dalton and Matt Schaub will determine this one. If Schaub plays like he's been playing as of late the Bengals will have a great shot.

It really rubs people after a bad loss and he just does his usual bad jokes, creepy laugh and non-answers at the subsequent presser

:lol Im not denying that. It's an odd guarantee.

But at the same time, AP probably will need 200 in order for them to win...

Same.

Yeah. I mean if they lost today that's a real collapse. They should get back on track today.

i'll be the first to tell you it was a rough december. and all that can disappear with a win today. both teams coming in under very different circumstances, cincy has been playing amazing on defense the last 8 or so weeks, and the texans offense has been stagnant this last month especially. we'll see how it goes.
