Yeah, they had one last shot. From behind. On the road. I'm sorry, but I'm taking being up 23-17 or 27-17 with a few minutes left in the 4th. And who knows how much time they could've milked off the clock before scoring a FG or TD, leaving Dallas little time to score again.
It is what it is and like I said, that picked up flag thing didn't singlehandedly cost DET the game. But it sure as hell helped put their backs up against the wall when it really should've helped them secure an even bigger lead. That really was blatant DPI. And we won't even get into Dez out on the field with his helmet off, yelling at the refs.
the lions shouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. they should have put the game away. i know it's easier said then done but they had the cowboys against the wall and they let off the gas. lions have no one to blame but themselves. also, if lions were really about winning the game they should have never punted it back to the cowboys
